  1. yay youve got a 31 category! woo i might enter.
  2. CU 33 NT SH33IT
  3. due to not enough numbers it is cancelled. i ill try at a later date.
  4. i wasnt talking exactly to you michael, just in general and the main consensus on internet forums such as this one. umm bhdave, im pretty sure the SS Aussie (fulcrum) ones have a 5/4 spring rate, which i believe is alot less than the standard jap rate, thus they re valve the shocks to match the rate. not 100% on jap rates but i dont see any other reason why they would revalve the shocks.
  5. lol at jdm fan boys saying japs are best never done anything wrong in their lives and saying other wise is blasphemy! omg! oh and if the adjustable shocks are the best in the world, why do fulcrum change the spring rate and re valve the shocks to suit? i thought thats what the nobs for right? (of the teins. however there are some very good coil over units out there - which cost alot more too)
  6. but those examples are for people who actually know what their doing - have chosen a proper spring rate and are using dampers with a proper adjusitng mechanism to FINE tune their suspenion, not noobs who buy a coilover with sic 15kgmm springs and say "o its too stiff" and wind it down to softest damper setting. - when they should have bought a lesser spring rate in the beginning.
  7. so adjusting the damper rate changes the spring rate? whats the point then? to mask an innefective spring rate? or to make it comfy for the chix? i dont get why you need adjusting. adjusting comes in coilovers because they use one generic body for all their spring rates on their different cars. or does turning a small nob excite you? lol look above - you said youve chosen to use what has been proven to work - now your saying your choosing to IGNORE what has been proven to work aswell - on the track AND the street. dude this is the interwebs - since when does every topic in forums stay on topic? and who cares since im actually saying something that all the newbs on the forum who post up 1million times a day "is this coilover hecitc uleh?" might actually find of use. but if not meh
  8. so you agree then? i guess i better get some wikkid strong coil overs to do hectic times in the "time attack uleh" but why do people not look at the group buys SK has organised and notice the hundreds (? its alot) of ppl who have bought the bilstein stuff and recommend. it to any one they talk to? too many fast and furious street racers in here.
  9. bro coilovers are sic. make sure you get as high a spring rate as possible for da chix
  10. how do you determine that its running rich? you running a wideband sensor? and if its really 'rich' what fuel economy you getting?
  11. obviously theres so much bias on here that people don't even think of considering that most, if not all of the recalls have been the fault of third party suppliers' parts breaking, which Holden has almost nothing to do with. oh and domestic motor magazines are just trying to protect the Australian car industry. the govt has reduced restrictions, tariffs and taxes on import vehicles over the last couple of decades, meaning holden & ford has to actually compete with international car firms and create competitive cars. so wheels is just doing its bit to spur on the local car industry(right or wrong) - why do you thing the BA falcon and now the VE commo won COTY.
  12. DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 - did bobbo head to celebrate, got stuck behind two derro van drivers on way up its time to (theres no icon for getting wasted)
