  1. Cool thanks all, will remap the chip in the ecu and reap the rewards!!
  2. what mods you got man? is that town driving?
  3. We got a 1993 (facelift) R32 GTS4 a couple of months ago, and are suprised with how much petrol it goes through, even more than my GTR! Only engine mods are filter and exhaust. Factory ECU. Is it supposed to have white injectors? Im confused. CA18 injectors are white, and they are ment to be 380cc. gtst are ment to be 270cc (orange?) or something right? Do any R32 skylines come out with white injectors? Cheers, Adam
  4. What materials would you use if you tried to make an airbox for less that $5? lol do you buy petrol? Yea i think a factory airbox with good panel filter is great, as the factory air box is great for cold air. I wonder how a factory airbox with good panel filter would compare on a dyno to a similar airbox around some apexi (or similar) pods. Any one had any experience with a good airbox for pods? Would be interesting to see some dyno results...that havent been done by a filter company! lol
  5. Hey blue32, that carbon air duct thingy infront of the radiator looks awesome!! I had an ARC box on my GTR, but tryed on some Apexi pods to see if there was any differnece, and i was shocked! car seemed to run much nicer, weird, and thats without a cold air box, so ill be very happy once i make a box! Once i make 1 it wont be as much effort to make duplicates. Will keep 'yal informed. Adam
  6. I have my GTR with apexi pods sittin here, a pile of carbon fibre sittin here, and no dam time to make one up!! But i will in the next few weeks. Were making a few parts for skylines from carbon, and an air box for the GTR is getting higher and higher on the priority list! Will post on here once i get one done. Adam.
  7. can one of you please send me a pic or two of the carbon fibre insert? Ive never seen them, and would be interested in possibly making some from carbon fibre. thanks, adam. [email protected]
  8. im making a bunch of things for R32 skylines at the mo. more than happy to answer questions. best advise, get a vacuum pump! awesome for tricky projects!!
  9. Yea ill probably just put it in line without a fuel cell for the mean time. havent got a fuel cell yet matt, where should i get one from? maybe we should get someone to make up 2 for us (1 each!) Yea if i were buying a fuel pump id buy a walbro or bosch, but i got this real cheap, so im going tyo use it.
  10. Yeap ive owned an R34 GTT and got bord of the power. much more reliable and easier on the eye, got respect from old people, RWD, but nothing on my R32 GTR i have now. So much more power, much more fun to drive with the 4WD and gains more respect from skyline fans a like. It all depends on what you want out of a car, if you want a styley powerful reliable sports car get a GTT, but if you want a tough classic super car get a GTR. When i had my gtt i was happy with it, but i knew it wasnt a gtr, and i wanted a weapon, so got a gtr. good luck man!
  11. Street driven, with the odd thrash round the hills, race up the motorway etc etc so are these only necessary if the car is under hard turning etc where the fuel in the tank is surging front to back / side to side? Or are they more to do with the different flow rates of different sized fuel pumps? Cheers
  12. If i use an internal fuel pump and an external pump is it vital to have a surge tank?? I have a R32 gtst riser pump and an aeromotive A1100 external for my main pumpp for my R32 GTR. Cheers.
  13. Stupid sounding question -> So does an external fuel pump need a surge tank?
  14. Ah thats awesome, thats what i thought too, just needed another opinion! thanks!
