  1. well they still for sale if anyone from melbourne wants to offer a reasonable price for these very new condition coils... otherwise i'll b forced to post interstate
  2. - Splitfire Coil packs (SF-DIS-001) - pack of 6 - only been used for 2 weeks - in original box with manual - $500 - suitable for RB26DETT, RB25DE, RB20DET, RB20DE engines Reason for selling: Was trying to find out the cause of engine missfiring problem. Found out that the coilpacks werent the reason after discovering it was only the AFM. SO whacked back on the stock coilpacks and selling these. Melbourne Pick-up only Vinh 0433319210
  3. if u got a stock airbox, change it to a pod. not only does it sound better, it somehow stops my car from stalling i dunno why it even stalls in the first place
  4. well problem solved, after all that i've done, it turns out that the problem was a few loose wires in the engine bay. i've tried switching afm. i guess for those with the problems, try checking all connections first b4 swapping n buying new parts. how stubborn i was not to do this first cheers for the feedback guys
  5. damn thanks for the quick response guys, i'll get on to that asap and i'll keep u guys updated on how it goes
  6. i find that the problem gets worst after a drive. like a drive first thing in the morning, the problem is still there but only at high rpm. i would park my car for like an hour, then when i start it up again, i couldnt barely drive it home. it would jerk n pop like crazy, i cant even revv past 2500rpm
  7. tried cleaning it and does no good u think i can directly swap it with a z32 afm if i dun have an rb20 one available? i know u usually have to tune it n change ecu, etc.. to make it run properly, but can i just chuck a z32 one in there just to see if all the jerking n popping goes away? just so i can confidently determine whether it is the afm? if yes: are the plugs the same? n all i do is directly plug in the z32 afm? thanks in advance
  8. so a faulty afm can cause all of this? jerking and popping? has anyone else had this issue? i just wanna make sure coz ive spent soo much n gotten nowhere
  9. just wondering guys, what can u expect to see from faulty fuel injectors in the car?? and what about faulty afm?? my cars jerking n missfiring like no tomorrow, i cant even drive it to 70-80km/h got brand new 040, spark plugs, split fire coil packs any help appreciated thanks
  10. just seeing if anyone is selling splitfire coils? i need some for RB20DET cheers
  11. an exhaust mod will make ur car run 10/11psi naturally... the stock is at 7psi becoz of the restrictive stock exhaust. no damage will be done, its safe to run up to 12psi so chill n enjoy the ride
  12. manwhor3, i tried search in forced induction section for responses on how to solve the problem, but no luck
  13. i have a 3" cat back apexi exhaust, fmic... and it runs 11psi... and its an r32... so i dunno wtf is up with that... how can two simple mods bring it up 4psi?
  14. hrmm... i got no BOV!! was thinking of putting a stock one. surely this has got ya thinking
  15. i recently just put in brand new iridium spark plugs, so i'll muck around with the gapping n see how it goes.. cheers
  16. yeh i have put 6 new iridium spark plugs in. i might play around with the gap to 0.8 or maybe should try checking the coils for cracks at the front thanks guys
  17. yeh i did some research n found that this is quite a common problem thanks. the engine also seems to stall when i rev it high n let let off the throttle, n clutch in. the rev drops all the way down n stalls the car. this only happens after i kick in boost, n commonly occurs when im going up a hill. is this linked to the coil pack too?
  18. Hey guys i dont know much, but i think i might have the same problem that has cost me over 1gran of bs n alot of headaches. can anyone confirm if this is it, here is my post details: "im currently running 11psi boost on my r32. when i hammer the car, the boost, regardless of what gear i am on, will quickly hit 11psi on the boost gauge. ... but as the revs slowly creep past around the 4000-5000 rpm mark, the boost starts to slowly fall, and i can hear 'popping' noises from my exhaust. from this point onwards, torque is lost and as the revs go up, car feels jerky n no torque. just hear popping noises n car is kinda 'jerky' with the pops. i thought it was the fuel pump, but i just got an 040 installed and still the problem remains" cheers guys

  21. hey maybe ur right, the pod is a dry element one, as all blitz are, the guy did explain about the bracket that will hold it secure to the chassis. maybe it is legal then... i guess the only issue here is that i have a fmic. ahh that sucks maybe i should get a k&n panel filter to replace stock one n modify it to draw up cold air directly somehow. thanks for the help guys.
  22. I went into autobarn today and the guy there was trying to sell me a blitz pod and said that they can install it in a way that will result in no defect notice for me. I thought all pods will cause issues with the cops, can anyone confirm this with me? he also said that i dont need a CAI as my car is a turbo, and the air sucked in, whether hot or cold will heat up due to the turbo. he seemed to know his stuff.
