  1. Hi everyone,

    Hope you can help me.

    I have a R32 GTR that has 350awkw. I have a built engine and all the good stuff so far and its tuned by Racepace, I had a stock cooler in there but bought a second hand trust one to replace it. Ive straightened all fins and polished it as much as i can, also ive cleaned out the internal of the cooler removing any build up on the inside of oil and the like.

    The standard cooler has a core of 600 x 295 x 60. The trust one has a core size of 590 x 290 x 70. I like the trust one because its chrome looking and being thicker should keep my intake temps down better than the standard one (though i know the standard ones work very well already, and can make good power).

    The highest boost with the standard one fitted was 1.5bar and now with the trust one fitted it's 1.4bar with just the cooler swap, not touching anything else. Im yet to get the car tuned with the trust cooler fitted. So

    Im wondering which cooler should i keep on?

    In your opinions which one would be better?

    Im thinking when the car goes in for a tune if it doesnt make 350kw again should i ask them to up the boost back to 1.5bar and see what happens?

  2. Hi everyone.

    Hope someone can help me.

    Im looking for the rubber spacer that goes in between the wing and the boot of a R32 GTR.

    Its the drivers side one that on the edge of the car. (not the one that gets bolted down to the boot).

    I took the wing off and discovered that it was missing the spacer, and i want to put the wing back on but need the spacer

    as the wing point is touching my rear quarter and has damaged my paint.

    Anyone got a spacer? Asked all the wreckers around melb and no one wants to help.

  3. I'll be using the car on the street and track with the subs in it.

    Im not interested in times just want to fang the car around the track.

    The subs will only come out for the drag strip.

    Think the ali plate underneath is a good idea with some braces running to the sub box and might make another brace to run to the floor that i can bolt on and replace the one that runs to the subs when they are out.

    If anyone does this put some pics up for us.

    Ill add some of mine when its done.

  4. Hi all.

    I had this in the cosmetic and styling bit but no one could help me so trying it in here.

    Im getting a gt wing for my R32 GTR and need to make up a brace to support the boot

    so it does not fold or get pushed in from the downforce.

    Im after any info or pics of this done.

    The wing supports are close together and dont go where the factory wing sits.

    So i dont know the best way to go about this.

    Do i brace under the boot where the wing is going to sit or do a make a brace that runs to the floor? Or sub box as i have two 12" subies in the boot?

    Im looking at getting a massive GT wing for my R32 GTR.

    Its 67 " across and made of carbon fibre.

    What i want to know is, i heard of cars hitting high speeds with GT wings on and the down force created, pushes and bends the boot in.

    So, has anyone made braces that goes to the floor or some sort of brace under the boot to strengthen it?

    Any photos would be alot of help before i attempt making something.
