Selling my 1986 Corona which i purchased recently as a runaround car while i was deciding what car to buy for my project. Well, i have found a car which i would like to purchase so i need to sell this car first. The car is in very good condition throughout, no rust or damage. I have all the reciepts and log books for the car. 100% reliable, will start first time every time and run perfectly, no problems with car at all. The car is manual and is fantastic on fuel. Just had the car serviced and tuned. It has : 3 1/2 months rego, exhaust, K+N Filter, full alarm, new radiator, hoses, lifters, brakes and carby (all with reciepts), 4 speaker radio/cassette. I have a set of 15 inch PCW Hockmesh rims for sale. They have Bridgestone rubber on them with 70%+ tread. Good condition rims with all centre caps and locknuts provided. I'm in Sydney too and would love to see your car as i am in the process of changing turbos too. Still undecided between R33 turbo, R34 turbo, VG30 turbo or high-flowing original so seeing your car would be a big help.

Lets assume it is the exhaust manifold gasket for a moment. How much would that be to replace and also, would there be a noticable power loss ??

Yes, i agree that many of the cars there could not have possibly been funded in legitimate ways and are a bit sus but, i can assure you that the guys in Autostyle do not and have not participated in that activity and are genuine cars.

That metallic black Skyline you are referring to belongs to a friend of mine. He used to have a Supra which he converted to single turbo and got 300kw at the rear wheels. You may have seen it in a few magazines. Well, the new car is a R32 GTR which he personally flew to Japan to select. Amongst the goodies, it has a single turbo conversion (T88). It will hit the tracks soon. I would expect with over 450hp at the wheels, it should easily run 10's The plates are carried over from the Supra and are "FLYBYE". Also on display with this car was another GTR "DARDVL" which was dynoed with 440+kw at the wheels.

They checked the fuel pressure, mixtures and injectors and they were all fine. I will have to track dr_drift down. What sort of proce did you pay for one of his chips ??

Specs of the car are : 3 inch turbo back exhaust with high flow cat Electronic Boost Controller K+N Rampod Filter Greddy BOV I believe the turbo is standard but i can't confirm this. Want to run at 12 (low) and 15 (high) boost without any pinging.

Well, seeing the car came from Japan i sort of expected it. But, i have been told that if i run it at low boost i will be fine otherwise to fill the car with Mobil 8000 fuel and Octane Booster but, i don't really want to be doing that all the time. So, i would really like to rewrite the software to suit the higher boost. I mean i have to cross this bridge before i can even think about putting a larger turbo. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

The car has a lot more power to come but i need to get my hands on some software for the Veilside chip so we can reprogram. Does any one have access to this software or know any workshops that know how to reprogram the Veilside software ?? Any help would be appreciated or any other ideas so i can run the car at the higher boost without the car pinging.

I was going to buy that car but i was too lazy too get my butt up on a plane and drive it back. Nice car. I enjoy the one i eventually got anyway so it's good to see two more additions to the R32 Skyline range

Thanks Luke. I have a Veilside chip in my car so i am wondering if they will adapt to the R33 turbo ?? How about injectors and fuel pump ?? Have they stood up to the task or have you changed them ?? What about adding a fuel pressure regulator ?? Also, what sort of difference is there between driving with this turbo and your standard turbo ?? ie does boost come on earlier, harder, longer etc ?? In other words, how does it drive ?? Thanks

Thanks for that info. So from what i can gather, i have the series 2 blinkers on mine (it is a 93 model anyway) and have had the little indicators added to the guards. No problems, i can put clear blinkers (if i can find them) and delete the side indicators.
