  1. On my car I have had a 6265, 6765,6766 and 7175. I have witnessed a 150rpm difference between a 6262 and 6265, hardly noticable, but there was also a couple of hundred revs between the 65 and 66 turbine wheels on my own car.

Yes it picked up 30hp atw but the point I was trying to make was, PTE marketed the same if not better response between the CEA wheel replacement wheels of the 65. Maybe that is the case with identical sized wheels, but from my experience not a bigger CEA vs smaller wheel. You can physically see the difference in the thickness of the older wheels.

  2. PJ, what have you seen the 6262 and/or 6266 go to power wise?

    Will the 6266 crack 500?

A 6266 will crack 500rwKw all day on an efficient engine. A mate of mines car made 491kW on a plain jane GT35 with .82 T3 housing, then went out and ran a trap speed of 147mph, 1400kg car including driver!!!

Yeah that sounds more like it Lithium, 900whp is a MASSIVE number given the size of the compressor and turbine wheels

My 6766 peaked at 853hp on Mainline at 42psi, running it any harder may have just caused drama's so we called it a day.

The yanks have gone very fast with these turbo's no doubt, they also have the cars setup to take an absolute pounding. I believe they have gone as quick as they have without any GST on the story, I still find it amazing how they are going 145+mph on FP Red's though.

  3. Come on lean on the boost already. lol

What in the precision range would be good to replace my old garret T51r with 1.05 rear. Engine is a 26/30 and currently makes 475rwkw @ 24psi thru a auto

Which box is it exactly? I'd be more inclined to go a 6466 or 6766, if it's a power sucking C4 :) They are rated at 900/935hp.

  4. 4. Tomei did back to back testing - split pulse vs single entry and tuned length vs normal runner manifolds in every possible combination and the results were basically nil gain or so minimal it wasn't worth the extra coin

Well, from my experience twin scroll vs single entry = two world's away, every single time.

We have back to backed a Trust twin scroll single gate setup vs 6boost twin scroll twin gate setup and it went down like this.

Test mule was an SR22DET with T78 kit, wouldn't come up onto the converter even after 20 seconds. Changed the manifold and fell over when after 4-5 seconds it had 20psi and the gates were open.

    No other changes, true story!

  5. I've decided to go bigger again and move onto the 7th turbo on my car!

Complete bolt in setup for S13/S14/S15

Whole setup has less than 1000 km’s on it and half of that was used to bed the engine in.

Precision 935hp 6766SP BB .84 divided housing as new, V-band rear + oil drain flange

6Boost Twin scroll divided manifold with EGT bungs (EGT kit not included)

    2 x Tial MVS 38mm wastegates

    2 x Screamer pipes

Big black lightweight braided Earls oil return line with fire sleeve (this cost nearly $300 to make alone)

Produced 574kW (758hp) at the wheels on a conservative street tune & 36psi and ran [email protected] on E85

Starts pulling from 3000rpm, hell breaks loose at 5000rpm.

Made 636kW at the wheels on 42psi on a race tune on E99. Will get into mid 8’s.

If you wanted this for a DET, 6Boost are able to cut the VET flange off and weld on a DET flange to suit.

Must go bigger to support my addiction. $3900 firm, will post at buyers expense
