Guys I will be relocating overseas in a couple of months so I am looking to sell my guitars before I do. I have : 1972 Les Paul Gold Top Deluxe Quite a bit of play wear giving it great character and great condition for a vintage like this (40 years old!) everything is made in china! Name brand companys dont lose quality by having them made in china. They still stick to their QA. it is some chinese brands that you have to worry about...(some)

Im not opposed to fixing the problem, as i wish to the sell the car and want it to be fine. It has Redline in at the moment (fresh) ..so Oil isnt the issue. I am interested in this Slave/Master cyl issue, but would like more info on it.. What am i looking for when inspecting the units?

thanks dead..that has been suggested to me as well. Will have to take a look into it, although what threw me off that was that the second box was worse than the first.

Has anyone come across the following? Recently installed a gearbox from a wrecker and a brand new clutch - when the car heats up this box was getting hard to go from neutral to 1st gear (it almost feels locked out until forced). Not all the time though, but the majority of the time. Second gear would give similar problems. 3rd 4th 5th all fine. I took this back to the wrecker and got a replacement, however this replacement is doing the same, and now crunches a bit in reverse. Has anyone experienced similar? Any suggestions? Friends have suggested the clutch not disengaging properly, but what steps can be done to verify? Is it just another shagged gearbox?

Yeah I have been casually looking in perth too..not much lately. A few months ago it was flooded with them. Eastern States seems to have some nice ones, but as said..get them thoroughly checked!
