put thicker oil in it. the oil in it now must be gettin to thin when it heats up
Im not opposed to fixing the problem, as i wish to the sell the car and want it to be fine.
It has Redline in at the moment (fresh) ..so Oil isnt the issue.
I am interested in this Slave/Master cyl issue, but would like more info on it..
What am i looking for when inspecting the units?

thanks dead..that has been suggested to me as well. Will have to take a look into it, although what threw me off that was that the second box was worse than the first.

Has anyone come across the following?
Recently installed a gearbox from a wrecker and a brand new clutch - when the car heats up this box was getting hard to go from neutral to 1st gear (it almost feels locked out until forced). Not all the time though, but the majority of the time. Second gear would give similar problems. 3rd 4th 5th all fine.
I took this back to the wrecker and got a replacement, however this replacement is doing the same, and now crunches a bit in reverse.
Has anyone experienced similar? Any suggestions?
Friends have suggested the clutch not disengaging properly, but what steps can be done to verify? Is it just another shagged gearbox?

hey man,
get one from the east coast... there are heaps to choose from, just get it look at by a quality workshop that deals with skylines and then transport it over her and get it registered. I did it and got a better quality car than I could have got here and saved a heap in the process.

Yeah I have been casually looking in perth too..not much lately. A few months ago it was flooded with them.
Eastern States seems to have some nice ones, but as said..get them thoroughly checked!

These are quite rare too. This guitar has a top build quality and very unique, versatile and bright pickups. I love it, however its not worth the risk carting it overseas.

I am happy with $1000, sad to see it go but really dont want to travel with it. amazing sound and craps on USA built 90's fenders.
