Hey everyone,
Trying to resurrect my R32 GTST which now has a rusty fuel tank. Retrofitting a plastic tank from the R32 GTR should be the way to go if I can still find one around. If anyone has some info, a contact, some guidance, it would be greatly appreciated.
So essentially I'll be looking for the complete tank with filler neck, pump cradle and cap

Yes, the GTR tank is plastic and would require modified fitment onto a gtst.

Original R32 Gtst tank has internal corrosion and will need replacing. A R32 GTR tank should do fine, preferably with straps, sender and cradle.
The better the condition, the better.

Wheel width = 7.5" Front / 8.5" Rear
Wheel offset = +30 Front / +38 Rear
Tyre size = 235/40 Front / 255/35 Rear
Modifications to fit = None

not intending to commandeer the thread, but ive had a similar problem occur to me today on my way home from work, but its a squealing noise almost like a break pad rubbing on the rotor, and its on and off as if its a particular section being affected, its only during cruising speeds and deceleration, so not when accelerating and you can hear at low as 10km/h around the street. my car is a r32 gtst, and ive had diff clunking when its being engaged, ever since i put in some alloy rear cradle bushes. am i up for a new diff?

I've mentioned the 500 pound refund a few times now and it's never been answered, so I don't think we will see it. Hell, email them and try if you want, i'd love to get some cash back!
I just want this to be all over, i'm praying to god the correct kits were sent and there is nothing wrong with them.

Call me crazy but I think maybe they should try and detect gunpowder, it can give off a hell of a bang. Not that testing for explosives is necessary on a domestic flight, theres more people on the rush hour train to the city for god sake.
Yes i agree with this... surely gun fire residue would be detected by their scans, CSI team is looking for it all the time!

Aw thats not fair haha, last time I got pulled over in my 180 I got defected for putting my battery in the boot.. silly policeman tried telling me that no car has ever come out with it in the boot so I couldnt have it there. He clearly had no idea what he was on about!! lol
Lol, that sucks! mine has been relocated to the boot also, they didnt even check in the boot, and said nothing about the oil catch can in the battery compartment in the engine bay!

Put in 10L of bleach, sloshed it around every now and again over 24 hours. Pressure washed it after draining the bleach out. Not perfect, but massive improvement and happy with the results. Pics below, the tank was still wet when I took the before and after shots.
