you have to give it to that old proffesser niikura and the response angle he keeps babbling about plus his shops strict policies of maintaining factory parts ... after doing hours of aftermarket browsing that car changed how i thought ... Pure filth!!! my instant fav

oh you mean out on the street driving , not inspection. as in mock ups etc !
i could be a smarty and say not 4 wheels spinning on take off but a combo of 2 rear and 1 front alternating but as you can see i didnt even get the engine right ...

yes ... its odd, none of my other turbos have ever done it and i cant help thinking maybe something isnt flowing right until it is hot and thin causing bigger tolerence gaps in the bearings while cold ....
i will be relieved when there changed .....

to give you an idea... josh winks is considered one of the best Techno artist's around ..
i cant stand it .... but i do own some of the samples he uses as far as accapella.... and have sorrta lied to girls that i like it because they asume the sample is the track....shame on me! hehe... dload a track of his and see if you actualy like that stye mate ...

What Im mean by the title: Techno; in my eyes means Technological-based music, ie music made via new means of technology other than the older time-aged styles (such as strings, keys, animal skins, wood instruments, etc)
So techno encompases all music that is technologically made (doesnt it?). Under techno you have your sub-cultures, such as hardcore, house, trance, jungle, drum n bass, dance, etc etc.
Me.... well I used to be into Hardcore, but really appreciate good uplifitng trance these days; takes me to my all important happy-zone. And with my knees killing me (yet again, 7 surgeries & they are as bad as ever) I dont get to see my happy-zone very often. Last night had ATB pumping from some live sets (from that link in the first post) - awesome stuff.

the way you see it is logicaly correct i spose but in a Dj's world techno is now a style usually related to the earlier production sounds and methods used to make it as i mentioned, its still around but usualy mixed in now.... dont go up to a tribal dj and say yeah man its all techno really ...he will probably drop ya because he has not one bleep sample in his set !
the main way to title it is DANCE >.... everyone luvs progressive the just dont understand how the word relates to the styles they like. Dance is crazy at the moment because there using the old TECHNO tecniques with new digital anolog sounds and creating the craziest music around with more freedom !
either way its all sequencing .... we should change the title to technilogical sequencing music anyone

Ok i got a very simple tip for alot ... its basicly common sense but it keeps me sane while big roadworks are going on and reduces polishing considerabley..... its a different approach but it works for my black
my mate is a 2k painter and for 15 years now he has been the same with his paint work and its always clean and imacc still...
he showed me this on his black 2k gemini one day after i asked him how he does it ....
the thing is he rarly washes his car with any spounges or detergent ,only if its gone past a point!
his whole theroy is in the shammy removing grime... he dosent just have one he has lots
and either puts one buck in the jet wash or just uses high water pressure and attacks it with that,regulary jetting the grime of the rubber shammy or getting a new rotated one.... 3 minutes tops blows my mind
Also mostly because the paint is still so slippery and clean its usualy a quick hose and then air blast on the road ...depending on how dirty the air is otherwise shammy and take the compliments
Also after a polish you dont end up with any swirl marks that some spounges can create if they grap grit
the cars paint water bead never seems to fade away or it does much slowly so its always easy to clean with just pressure....
I swear by this for my black R32 and have a chuckle at the guys busting elbow grease with all the products .....

there fairly common in most auto shops the rycos.
i used one of them and no problem but later changed it to a nissan one...
your in the right spot where you described. In my experience the old filter was stuck good and fast in the hardend hose .... it was much easier ,less skin removing and safer in my mind changing the small hose's and the filter in one peice.

the ceramic turbs dont sit right with me as they sound very different until warmed up to optimum temp, or well mine DO! and will be upgraded as soon as i decide on combo.... so for now its mellow crusing ...
one theory was burnt oil on turbo bearings ? Could someone please explain and why they sound so chirpy until used and temp is present in oil temp gauge or has anybody got the same noise's
its got me stuffed because the engine is a fresh build but now after study i think the turbos may not be.
basicly i dont want to pop them while there on the fresh engine.
the cars been adjusted to about 12psi but is rarley taken there and hi rev's kept to a minimum , maybe 8000 once a week for a play...
What will happen before these things die symtoms wise?.. (the ceramic turbos)
as in a good serviced lifetime?
As in bad serviced lifetime
14 Psi boost used often ?
boost used when they are first engaged and sound chirpy like i explained before, as this can take 20 minutes sometimes ideling and still needs driving time to get oil temps around where the noise changes .
And the big question what happens if one goes as in follow on engine damage ?

the standard rb30 piston is good for quite a bit of boost provided your air and fuel are tuned right ....
We sent 23 psi through a set and they were fine with an EMS tune

i cringed when i saw the title of this thread ..... i bet most of you would hate techno the actual style but love sampled progressive dance music ....
Prog house Vs tribal is what i spin ...
if i hear another synth created techno album or track i may commit sushi... the whole tracks were just about created on a cheesy synth loops that roll through octave scales of blipps and bleeps...
Check out some Sander k then try listening to mid nintys techno from the synth era and you will get what i mean

you answered most of all your own questions there buddy . the autoelec should of told you so you stop guessing your self . if its been in front of an AE then he could tell in 1 second if the battery or Alternator is fragged .... it is!!!, i can tell by what your saying ... replace it and forget about it hassling you ......i went the biggest fatest exide that would fit and repaced terminals with contact luggs ... not a hicup now !!!
mine was the same, came with jap battery .... there ok until you slowly drain the old one of power somehow (bootlight stereo etc) and they seem to cross a cell making it a 12 volt battery still but no staying power .....

I have tiny deformed hands and i still have trouble .... after getting it to release i proceeded to burn the hell out of my hands with the hot fluid while spashin around a bit of anti rust system so the rb26 dont rust
... that was my first attempt ... I do wonder how the service centers would do it with out spillage as its a doesy!

this sounds like a problem for the stagea!
i take my 3 year old in mine sometimes (r32 gtr) and although she is fairly comfy in her imatation saas booster, I am limited to the size of the passenger and cabin contents ... i am seperated so the passenger size changes quite often and its a hassel big time
. The thing is kids can kill theses cars real quick if your not a nazzi and no one likes to be like that .. they cant help it the little ones, its not there fault
Also being their 2 doors theres many headaches if its used as family car.
your doors ,sills, interior get constantly bashed putting them in and out
you get kicked accidently in the back because they havent got any leg room (a 3 year old girl is pretty small) ,
they have limited windows to see out of so they play up ,or mine and her little friends do ....
try all going to the supermarket then to maccas then to the park and then visiting friends ...
I got that fed up i simply went out and got a vl wagon for any family stuff and only put her in the R on special occasions ...
An infant capsuale in a gtr.... narh! you can do it but you dont want to ! mate ....

the rb30was a gift .... its just the simplist bang for buck and has all but superceeded the car it was released in as far as parts available and development gains ...
there is a massive aftermarket following much cheaper per HP gained Vs dollar than any of the other Rbs as far as bolt on parts now and i believe because of this!!!!
i have had all of them now and although the rb26 is tuff when fresh i dread working on it as apposed to the old 3 litre dime a dozen....

i used the 3.78 litre pack and the 1 pint extra bottle for my rb26 and filter...
i have about 500ml top up if i need it
and was around the $150 mark.... $125 for the 3.7 and $35 fore the pintThe gearbox took 1 x 3.7 litre pack of lightweight with some still left in the bottle so that 5 litre figure your guessang at benm is probably a little exessive. Dont go guessing its to important....
theres lots of info on sump capacities in the info bomb search feature.

i run the same combo ... it does deppend if its Getrag box which i beleive is later model skylines... but you didnt say what yours is bud !
for r32's i went 10/40 Engine, lightwieght shockproof like the dealer book says but for the getrag upgrade the superlighweight is used!
A tip... Anyone supplying these oils should have knowledge and manuals to follow like bursons where i went. i made him ring redline to make sure.....

1. yeah guys i always warm her down 3 or 4 kays before shutdown just piss's me off but i will give ZXFIRE soulutions a go
2. will keep monitoring ... its just such and odd sound if it catches me by surprise ... but as i said as soon as its all used for a bit (pressure put through turbos) chirping noise gradualy changes to air sound...
3. sorted ..... by removing alternator, inspect and refitting with secure new connections ...

this was never a debate about the better car but stock, the r32 is way more race breed.... i certainly have no complex as i could've boughtt a r33, a real nice one but in my mind it wasent the classic godzilla ...and thats just me !!! We dont have complex's because we have godzillas you trippa !

thats the big rant about a 2jz isint it? there bottom end is all superiour and shit apparently ! so comparing bottom ends as stock and worked is kinda an oximoron in the argument as some of you have made it , not to quicley mention the capacity difference.... simplified if you wanna argue about it the 2jz shouldnt of needed rebuilding because there way bigger & better in the first place with massive HP ratting stock ...all the mags say so! so it must be true ...just ignore the track tests please
