  2. NSX-R is quicker than an R34 GTR but the margine is so close that its all up to the driver really

LOL thanks for that craig i'm single mate, have been for almost a year and fkn lovin it. i don't know how to explain it, i want a turbo so bad and at the same time i'm always saying to myself, "what a fkn waste", as in petrol, mods, cops, etc. the thing is, i don't really know what i want lol. i've got the options and yet i just can't make up my mind
  4. the car is gonna be used as a daily, just something that looks good and goes ok enough lol. no track work at all. i like the R33 coz i've always loved the tough look and the street rep its got, i like the civic coz its pretty uncommon, high reving and nice. thread starter, again sorry dude
  5. thanks for that mate it does kinda help. the thing is, my cousin in law has 2 cars that he's selling, a 94 R33 GTS4 auto NA and a 2000 model honda civic VTiR 2 door coupe. now i'm not allowed to get a turbo yet. now if i get the civic i'm afraid of people calling it "ricer" and shit coz it is kitted, etc. but i also would'nt mind keeping the NA R33 till i'm off my Ps so basically this is why i'm full of questions lol thanks

  8. i'm in Vic. the thing is i love the style of R33s, not in stock form though lol. they just look so tuff when kitted, etc and i wouldn't mind driving an NA R33 to be honest, its still got the looks. but yeah its like i'd prefer turbo ofcourse but wouldn't mind an NA. a mate is selling his very neat 94 GTS4 auto for just over 8 grand and i'm tempted to buy it. its got bodykit and is lowered. fark i don't know what to do oh and yeah money is ok but it would probably take me some time to mod coz it takes me a while to save a decent amount of money lol

  10. hey guys, i can't make up my mind about this and desperately need your help/advice/suggestion/etc. i don't know whether the NA or turbo would be more suitable for me. i'm still on my Ps and i'm restricted to drive auto only so that's one thing i've sorted out lol. the car will be driven daily to uni, work, out, etc... i wont be doing any track work or anything but i'd still like to have a car with a bit of go for when you feel like it. what would YOU do if you were in my shoes? cheers

  14. i know it's a long shot but there's this yellow R33 that i usually see drive down barry road in the nw it has a for sale sign on it. i've even tried to pull up next to him to try and get the number coz i'm interested in the car. i've looked on carsales.com.au etc.... and can't find it. so if the owner is really selling and is on this forum can u please pm me. thanks heaps.

  16. yeah true. some guy in a civic tried to drag my brother in his wrx at the lights, well i don need to tell you what happened then lol
  17. has any of you NA skyline owners had any embarassing moments with your car. for example someone dragged you in a car that's slower than a GTST and beat you. or do other drivers pull up next to you or drive past you thinking it's turbo and just backed off.
  18. well it's either that or an NA 300zx and they're both kinda heavy but like i said i have to stick with NA for now.
  19. honestly i'm not that desperate to get a turbo, i mean i'd love to have one but i can settle for an NA and being still on my Ps i think i should. i'm not gonna be taking the car to tracks or anything just want something that looks and goes ok for daily driving and with the number of undercover cops around these days you can't get away with a drag race every now and then lol.
  20. one more question fellas, now i'm not backing out or having second thoughts or anything but is it worth doing this, i mean getting an NA R33, doing up the cosmetics part of it then when getting of ur Ps doing a turbo conversion and focusing on performance.
  21. first of all, sorry if this is a repost. anyway i'm getting an R33 GTS manual soon and want to do a turbo conversion later on. just wanted to know wats the cheapest way of doing this. i know the best way to do this is probably getting a GTST front cut (i think). but is there a different and cheaper way. appreciate any help.
  22. there's plenty around but these are the only ones i've been to. they're called Northside Imports i went there to look for a front cut of a 180sx minus engine they said $1,400 but we got it down to $1,200, didn't get it though coz we didn't get the damaged 180sx. my brother asked for a supra front cut with a 2JZ, 6 speed gearbox, suspension, cross members, etc... they said they can get it for around $7,500. there's also Holford motors in spotswood, www.holfordmotors.com
