Hey guys, was cruising along the highway the other day and the 'overheating cat' light came on and the engine died. Pulled over and the car would start, get to 1000~ rpm and then die again. Pressing the accelerator before it dies does nothing. After unplugging and replugging the 02 sensor wire on the dump pipe the car started fine.
The next day I had the same problem but playing with the 02 sensor plug doesn't fix it. Getting a new 02 sensor tomorrow hoping that does the trick.
Would a stuffed 02 sensor cause this problem? I thought it would just cause poor fuel economy, not cause the car to not run at all.
Car is a rb25det r32 with only mods being a tuned power fc and walbro fuel pump.
Cheers.

What about a Toyota 4L V8 1UZ? Theres a supra getting around with one of them and its fairly quick
-
My car just recently started doing the same thing. Hoping its just a bad batch of fuel.. if not I'll chuck in my spare afm.

Awesome build mate. Looking forward to the finished product
Any idea how much the car weighs now?

Pagani Zonda R looks/sounds much better IMO

Hey mate.. how much for complete front/rear brake setup not including hubs?
-
Would a GT3076R with 400rwhp be reliable on a standard internal rb25?
Car will be a daily with some balls and also see the track once a month..
-
sweet... drop a brick on the accelerator and go to bed, and by the time you wake up the next morning and get in the car, you should have enough boost for a launch...
Nah you just need an rb26 that revs to 1,000,000RPM

After owning/driving both I would choose the supra. I found the supra more comfortable to drive with only 2 people. If your even thinking of having 4 people in the car then get an R34. Supra is less practical than the R34 and for your price range most likely older aswell. But to me the looks interior/exterior and performance more than make up for these cons.
The R34 N/A isn't a bad car, it handles well and looks nice but IMO the supra is the better overall car.
ps. The 96.5+ supras have a much nicer looking dash, oh and whichever car you choose it must be manual

Can I have a quote on front/rear R33 GTS-T slotted rotors delivered to 4508 QLD.
Cheers.

Let me know how you go with the conversion mate
-
Recently bought a rb25det r32 and didn't realise it was originally a GTS (doh). Just wondering if r33 gts-t brakes will bolt straight on?
If they do what do I need exactly? Hubs, calipers/rotors, brake master cylinder.. anything else? lines?
Also what is a knuckle? I'm hoping I can get the conversion done for under 1k..
Cheers guys.

Is the diff an R32 GTS-T LSD? Price?
-
Chasing the diff, can you get it posted to northside of brisbane (Redcliffe)?

I would recommend Just Cars. My supra was a repairable write off and I was paid out in about 3 weeks with no real hassles.
-
I want one!

Oh Hell YES!
*ps. I watch too much wangan midnight*

Also I think the Americans pay less for fuel because their fuel is slightly worse than ours? They have like 85RON or some shit im unsure but I know the highest RON rating they have their is 93 or 95. It could be the reason why or just because they invaded Iraq so they get the cheaper fuel..who knows eh.
You do know the americans rate there fuel differently to us? They're 93-94oct is equivelent to our 98. They also have 100oct at the pump in some areas and that is much higher than anything we have here.

Could a Prius even pull a Skyline on a trailer?? haha

Already got rid of my TT Supra for a little corolla. Getting a bike soon though.
By the time I can afford a car I'm hoping electric sports cars like the Tesla roadster will be mainstream
