hi guys, who's using an aftermarket wheel on an airbag equipped skyline? has anyone had problems with boys in blue and insurance issues? i've got a series 2 and just wondering if its worth the potential problems.

how much did the apexi filter cost you from autobarn?

hi guys, i want to buy a pod filter for my series 2 r33. what do you guys recommend and do i need any special attachments for the afm, or does the pod just go straight on in most cases? i've seen an apexi one which looks the goods, is there anything else which is good for under $160

i've got a 33, guess they would be the same or pretty close. mine takes just over 3 litres in the gearbox, and almost 2 litres in the diff. cost me $140 to fill both up last time, thats castrol synthetic in both plus a 125ml nulon gearbox/diff treatment in both.

i spent all day yesterday trying to find a good deal on this stuff. rang repco and got quoted $697 for gates racing belt, tensioner, idler, water pump. about 5 phone calls later i had it down to $320 for all these parts. my tensioner and idler came from a bearing place and cost $130 all up so you should be looking around this mark for non genuine. oh by the way nissan quoted $89 for tensioner and $246 for idler and thats trade price.

hi, my stereo was stolen from my r33 series 2, now i need the stereo brackets and the little tray that goes in there to fill up the gap. anyone know where to buy this stuff or does someone have some they will part with for a price?

thanks for the help, i will throw a set of platinum's in it and gap them to .8 mm, need to do a service anyway.

so whats the best way to check that the coil packs are ok?

hi, i've just recently picked up a series II r33. i've noticed that sometimes when i boot it, it has a really slight stumble at about 4000rpm, then at about 5500rpm. its only very slight but you can feel its not revving freely through the range. sometimes it doesn't do it though. i was thinking spark plugs but what do you guys think its got standard ecu, hks filter in the standard box, 3 inch cat back but running standard cat for compliance (haven't got around to changing it) oh and running standard boost.

i once managed to squeeze 58 litres into my sigma which only had a 45 litre tank. this was at a shell servo too, i went inside and had a go at the guy, he said " sorry sir but you must be mistaken about the size of your fuel tank". so as i walked back to my car i decided i needed one of their squeegees for my troubles. lol, he must have wondered what i was doing walking around every bowser trying to find the best looking squeegee to take.
