Absolute bullshit, my series 1 25de had the oil return just above the sump blanked off which simply unscrewed to fit my return line fitting. The same as the water return and oil feed, the only thing I had to source was a water feed which I t-pieced from a heater hose. Piss the rb20 crap off, accept a 25det stock turbo as a minimum.
Just back the timing off a little, run a huge cooler, decent injectors (stock 370cc should be fine) and a decent fuel pump and you should be fine. The stock 33 DET ecu seems to run it fine
Just installed a turbo on my 25De, runs really well, but when I pull up to the lights or even give it a good rev while sitting it stalls straight after, starts up again and runs fine tho??? Any ideas???
Need the two big water bolts turbo end for a Vl T3, I dont know if the rb25 bolts are the ame size??? If anyone has some or can help me, let me know asap. Cheers- Juddie
Well I have all the bits together for mine finally, Have a 25DE fitted to my R31. I have just picked up a good High flowed T3/4 with lines and manifold. Still chasing a 33 DET ecu to get it all running, also just bought a just jap same sided cooler. So far, its cost me $650, so should be 1k total and running. Let you all know how it goes
Calm down mate, you didnt state your intentions very well therefore I didnt know what sort of boost you were running. Im turboing mine next week, will be running 7psi on stock compression. So ill soon let you know how long it lasts, and from what I have heard and seen, it should last me a few years yet
We are holding another drag day in late Jan if all goes to plan, same deal as last time. Should be a food van availabe this time also. $60, which is great value considering you get non stop runs for most of the day. Please let me know asap if there is any interest from you guys, cheers- Justin

At Lake St. Clair, you cant go wrong. Theres a spot that involves a decent walk, probably a good hour or so up the Mt. Rufus track, theres a lake called Shadow Lake, which is joined to another thats not named, the un-named lake has a few BIG rainbow trout. Always seek local advice on the weather tho, cause if you get stuck your f**ked up that way
Was going to start turbo conversion this week, BUT I now have one very broken gearbox...will need to fix first, so if anyone knows of any gearboxes floating about, let me know.
Search for DPIWE (dept of prim. Ind. water and Environent) I think their website lists all good spots around Tassie, if not just google fly fishing Tassie, u should find plenty og info.
