  1. Well i havent got to that part yet, but apparantly you need a longer throttle cable, not sure what car to get it off though or if u need to get one custom made. Ill let you know when i work it out though
  2. Well as i said in my first post, the throttle body (TB) doesnt fit the greddy manifold, 2 of the 4 holes dont line up so you need to make/buy an adaptor plate or bigger TB. The brass fittings needed are to screw into the greddy manifold so u can attach your vacuum hoses for BOV, charcoal cannister, brake booster etc etc. Heres a few pics of the car, it also has airbag suspension and 19's More pics and a write-up of the build here 260C Build-up
  3. Im halfway through installing my ebay plenum now, although engine is out of the car, and its not that hard. Just unbolt the old one, swap everything over to the new one, although you will need brass fittings to screw into the plenum to attach hoses to, then bolt it back onto the motor (and throttle body needs an adaptor plate). You also need to play around with a few hoses and need a longer throttle cable. The main reason im changing plenums is im putting an RB25 into a datsun and want the cooler piping shorter and to look better. Im not really worried about the performance side of it
  4. I bought one of those Greddy rip off manifolds off Ebay for my RB25 and just found out the standard throttle body doesnt fit. 2 of the holes line up but the other 2 are about 10-15mm off. Can anyone tell me what throttle body will fit?
  5. Im doing an engine conversion and putting an rb25det and auto box into a datsun 260C, and on the weekend i was trying to rip the wiring loom for the auto box out of the car. (just to confirm, the computer for the auto is behind the drivers kick panel isnt it?) Anyway the loom from the auto computer goes up under the dash then 3/4 of it goes thru the firewall and the rest goes into a big loom plug. Now the problem i have is what the hell do i do with the wiring that goes into the plug? Im guessing some of it is power to the computer and shit, but obviously a wiring diagram wiould tell me this. So can anyone tell me where i can find a wiring diagram? Or does anyone have any tips? Im really pumped up about getting the conversion done but the auto wiring is really giving me the shits at the momeent. Also another problem is the wires that go to the shifter have been cut, which im guessing are the wires for the overdrive? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Scott
  6. Im almost done with my front cut so was wondering if anyone wants anything from it before i chuck it away. Leftovers include complete dashboard, steering column, front suspension arms & swaybar, ABS system, air con, power steering. Ask if u want anything else Just so people dont ask, there is obviously no engine and box, brakes, brake booster, struts or radiator. Locations is Southern Sydney Reply here or call me on 0403317457
