hey ruby good news about the sale but a shame about your friend, i cringe hearing of people coming of their bikes... hence why i sold mine. had a close friend who recently got ran off the road and ended up with the peg thru his leg. scary stuff! hope he makes a full recovery and gets back on the horse!

its 0.5 mm sheeting 900x900 from recollection $28 a sheet from stratco.... i wanna find 1 mm or 1.5 mm sheets of aliminium... the 0.5 is too thin, dents and looks a bit cheap and nasty but it still does the job.. sealing all my airbox with it atm.

hahah at this stage the aluminium is too thin for it to look pro... small dents and such.. if i find a thincker aluminium sheet id think about making them properly for people just jap on the forums u could just make a copy of mine.. but as i said b4 the aluminium im using now is too thin... hows it all running ?? or i take it its not if ur mucking around with pfc? cant wait to see it

i bought some aluminium sheeting today and got creative.. still have to take it all off smooth edges and bends and give it a good clean... tonights task is aluminium brake ducts.. super sized

got a day off and i thought it was finally time to take my front lip in to get resprayed... had a brain wave and instead of going for wine red which it was originally, i decided to try out some tungsten which is the same colour i used on my wheels.... looks ok so i recon thats what ill get it respreayed in.. bout to take it down now. then this arvo gonna give the baby a full wax in meguiers tech wax.. just preparing my hands now hahaha.

its all been discussed before. use the search function for exact results but the best all rounders for flow and filtration were k&n and 3 a racing.. apexi was a bit average(im still using twin apexi's tho) and key thing is to make sure its bracketed in firmly then the po po wont have to many qualms with it. remember tho stock airbox for the win.. just up grade the panel filter and create some better ducting.. so much colder intake than a pod

ya know im always down for a hillzy with a dale but the bald tires and shot suspension have me sketching... once its all done u'll be the first a call for a decent cruise.. always happy to whatch the big blue flames come out the back of ya beast! hey pete! the carbon box is a just jap item i bought through the forums... saddest thing is i had to cut alot away for my old plumbing setup now i have heaps of gaps... you have to seal all the underside of the pipes reguardless, to creat the full box that protect from hot air. still in the middle of making bottom section up. al in all i think the modded stock panel+box is the go. i was looking for one before i got the piping... now i cant do it but if the mines 34 has stock airbox u should too

^^^^ agreed put it into shares for 13- 18 months... your bound to gain a fair chunk of money.... so far ive lost enought to buy a 34 gtr, i invested just before the crash too so i certainly am kicking myself! on another note had thursday off... put back on carbon air box and took off cam gear cover... also adjusted and tinkered with a few things here and there... very happy ith the looks now just need a carbon coil cover.
