Yea, your right. but at the time i had little choice or let it burn. Problem solved! It was i fuse in the ecu that had let go due to the short circuit from the 02.

Anyone?? Im pretty sure its the ECU that has been short circuted cause of the 02 sensor..

Well so far found the turbo is fine. got spark. got air.... don't have fuel. The pump wasn't working. checked fuse's, relay's.. all fine. bypassed everything and powered up the pump, it works. Iam now going to fix the 02 sensor and if that doesn't work(which i dont expect it to) iam going to borrow my mate's ecu and see if mine if somehow stuffed. It just seems funny that after an under bonnet fire the fuel supply has been cut...safety feature of the ems?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone, Well on the weekend i was having some fun in my 33 gtst, after the turbo was glowing white my friend comments to me how he likes my neons under the car. Having no neons i immediatly go and lift the bonnet to find my turbo on fire. The o2 sensor plug had melted and caught fire on the turbo, as the cars still running turbo timer i poured water on it to put it out. After the fire was out and the engine shut off it wouldn't start again, it cranks, just wont start and run. Im sure the engine will run without an 02 and on the first two atemps at starting it, it did start for a second but then died a few seconds after. Any help would be greatly apprieciated, What could it be???

I was wondering if the RB25 engine loom plugs into the r32 gtst car loom(fuse box) or do i have to run the entire loom? and if so does the loom then plug into the car itself? Is this an easy conversion?

i guessed it would, where would be the best place to get a selector?

Hey ppl, I recently had a minor crash whilst drift at the local track. I hit front on and since then my gearbox has been stuck in gear. I was towed off track and had to leave the clutch in the whole way home. Ive since pulled the engine/gearbox and taken the box off, pulled the shifter and tried everything bar pulling it apart. Does anyone have any advise? or had this happen to them before? Any help would be greatly appretiated as i really don't want to replace it. Cheers.

jus to clear up, these cars CANNOT EVER be registered for road use. They are imported cheaply for this reason and 'blackmarked' their id/VIN numbers are taken down throughout ALL registeries in Australia and marked as a RALLY/RACE ONLY vehical. The only way to register them is illegal. Hope that clears it up for some people. Good luck with sale, this is a bargin!
