All I done was had the car running whilest filling the radiator and it won't let more in, where is this bleeder ontop of the motor? As for background of motor, s1 rb25det put into n/a r33 "changed full wiring loom"

I'll check the thermostat when I get home, if it's broken can I drive without 1 until tomorrow when I can get a new 1?

The motor is fine now, but after I went for a drive testing it out I looked at the engine temp and it can't get any hotter! The oil and water and full/perfect level. Any ideas on what it could be? Is there anything I can do/try to fix or find the problem, this motor was from a jap wrecker freshly put in, thans

i took the power fc off and replaced with the standard gtst ecu and now it seems to be running fine... but the car feels a little more shakey then it was whilest being n/a. but its not overboard its just a bit shakey. maybe its cause im running a highflow turbo, fmic, turbo back exhaust on stock ecu?

just installed my gtst motor in my non turbo r33, i changed the wiring loom to gtst so the installation should be fine. i put a power fc tuned for fmic, cat back 3" zorst, pod filter. i have the same mods with a full exhaust though. nehow i took her for the first run, it went perfect then i stopped at these lights further on down the road and it felt like the engine was a bit shakey. i continued to drive and it felt perfect still, i got home and i was letting it cool down while the car was on since i dont have a turbo timer. then i rev'd it a bit and it was going "pop pop pop" rev's from 1k to about 2.5k then backs off and starts to pop, while it does that it puffs some smoke out. i rolled it down my driveway and sat it there with it still on. the engine started shaking a fair bit at this stage it was moving my exhaust... does anyone know ther possible cause of my problem? thanks

hey guys went to refill the gearbox fluid and the last mechanic that done it, done the bolt up to tight. am i able to pour the gearbox fluid through the gearstick? someone said 2l - 2.5l is enough so i was just thinking its empty now so ill just poor that much through the gearstick or will it not go through into the box?

lack of comunication ide have to say. and as i stated he gave me a item number for auspost and auspost didnt have it in there system which made me think wtf is going on here. but neways im over it i will never buy from a place that has no telephone number again and a place i cant go down the road and say whats going on. its just to much of a worry. just delete this post "yes" its turned into a slide bash fest but many people have had problems with there items and are just stating what has happened to them in the past. hopefully slide reads this is realises they need more communication with the customers as many ppl have said they pm and no replies untill days - weeks later.

i did think in advance when i arranged it cause i said to him ill call friday afternoon to let u know if my parts arrived or not so u know if im still going to come on monday and that was fine. but thats not the point the point was i had no way of knowing what was going on cause they dont reply to messages often and auspost was a shit fight and sliding has no number to ring them on which is a real pain in the ass.

Ok im home and they just arrived, so just on sliding defence they did arrive on thursday "but auspost didnt have it registered as picked up so thats why i was stressed about them being lost/stolen/not sent" sorry for any inconvenience to sliding performance, but 1 thing it didnt come with a reciept and the injectors were just in bubble wrap with no box. how do i tell if they are genuine 740cc nismo rb25 injectors?

He sent me a pm on late Tuesday saying ok it's sent by auspost of it's not there Wednesday will be definately by Thursday, and I rang auspost and they don't know shit about this parcel so I have a right to be worried! I know I said I need by Friday and it's not Friday buy I wad told latest Thursday. If u spent $1200 and didn't know wtf was going on I'm sure u would be stressed aswell.

Someone that has everything ready waiting for the injectors to drop in! And I was told multiple times I would have injectors before Friday, this is a company that had them in stock just needed to be posted! I would have brought from someone else if he couldn't make the Friday deadline. Obviously I made a mistake as I'm for ur not perfect so don't put shit on me thanks.

PLEASE SAU DNT DELETE OR MOVE! I payed for nismo injectors last Friday, they said Tuesday here is ur tricking number for aus express post! I rang aus post yesterday and today about them and still nothing registered there! They said sorry we can't help u have to speak to the seller! I'm trying to contact them again as I told them I needthe injectors by friday for a 7:30am dyno Thats been arranged already, they said u will have them by Friday! Yesterday they said don't worry u will have them on ur door yesterday today the latest! But aus post has nothing in the system yet, someone pleasE help me out this is getting me stressed. No $1200 no injectors no idea what's going on. Someone must have a number of the guys that run it? If so pls pm me a number or tell him to check his mail and ring me.

they were nissan bolts and they are rubbish i would think proper high tensile bolts would hold it with ease? are u 100% sure u can only use nissan bolts cause that seems really odd that u have no other choice... cause i need them tomorrow do u think a wreckers would sell me them bolts maybe?

i would of had my engine in today but as i was bolting the clutch onto the flywheel guess what wanted to snap off inside the flywheel... F#%KEN stupid bolt! can someone tell me a place i can get a good quality bolt for the clutch tomorrow please. i need it tomorrow no later thanks

hey i got my rb25det a bit earlier and im in the process of installing its going well since ive done this before but i noticed my bov was marked r32 rb20... same bov or not? i was gonna block that little hole off in the back so i could apply more boost as i will be running alot on high boost setting.. and i need it to hold it in. yeah i asked Ben at UAS and he said just get the 740cc cause he can tune them np so i have ordered them... will be putting the car in on saturday or monday HOPEFULLY to get tuned. so i have everything i need BUT new rear tyres, and a new clutch but ben said the heavy duty exedy should last on it for now. and my engine arrives here tomorrow so im just praying that they dont stuff up the order and forget something essential for the rb gts to gtst transplant. and ill be putting all the mods and engine in over the upcoming nights. "who needs sleep " when i get my tune ill post up the pwr rating. thanks for everyone opinions and help over my last few post's Cheers, Nigel
