  1. nope. i work in a place that sells crash parts, some of the stuff is adr compliant but not approved. there's a big difference. if they are adr approved then they are 100% legal, if they don't have approval they're not street legal. thats why i asked.

You learn something new every day.

According to BW, these hoses are ADR approved. Each hose has their own set of ADR approved rubber connectors, and their machine to make the hoses has its own set of ADR numbers too.

Feel free to call BW to ask.

  2. G'day interested in the braided lines i have a 260RS stagea, you mentioned earlier in your thread that only thr fronts will fit, why is that? if someone has already answered this question earlier in the thread im sorry its just a rather long one now.

    Cheers

    Hey Mate,

When BW received a sample for the stagea lines, they only received the fronts, not the rears.

    Cheers

  3. marrk: please confirm these braided lines are rated for track use.

can you please confirm that the 780 degree rated pads are the 750's you're selling? I thought A1RM were rated to around 580 degree's?

    cheers,

    daniel

    Hi Daniel,

Yes the braided lines are rated for track use.

A1RM are defintaly rated to 780 degrees.

Feel free to call BrakeWest to confirm.

    Cheers

  4. so by better pad, you mean the k750 over the k500??

i do have a track day coming up on march 14th, but realistically i would be doing maybe 2-3 track days a year. Would this warrant though going up to the K750's??

I assuming there is also a trade off in 'rotor wear' from the k500's to the k750's?

Yes by better pad I mean the K750's over the K500's.

If you're doing track days, then I would strongly recommend the K750's. The K500's aren't designed for track.

Yes, there is a trade off in rotor wear from the K500's to the K750's, however I think its negligable.

You'll probably find your brake fluid will boil well before the pads reach their max temp. If you're going track, get some Lucas brake fluid.

    Cheers

  5. hey mate im after a set of k750's for an S15 - rear..how long will it take to get them and how can we pay?

    cheers

howdy, if group buy is still open I'll take a set of front and rear K750 brake pads, i may even take the whole package inc braided lines, (just waiting to see if a mate is going to give his braided lines up first) but definetly want a set of front and rear K750 brake pads, pm me with the bank details and i will notify you with amount deposited amd what i will actually end up getting, Damo

    PMs Sent :)

  6. Interested in package 1...just wondering whether or not the K750's are suitable for a daily, that will see the track occasionally...are they a very noisy/dusty pad?

Currently running Bendix Ultimates on the fronts, no real noise, but extremely dusty, and I have white wheels...

The K750's are great from every day driving, as their operating temp is 0 - 750 degrees celcius. I didn't experience any noise when I had them on my car, and I haven't had any complaints from other people.

They are a dusty pad, but not as dusty as the bendix ultimates.
