Thanks for the input, I am quite picky with my options, which I believe is the reason why its so hard for me to find a model in Aus. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get your one for Nismo? That kind of fit my specs perfectly. Black, sunroof, brembos, premium, manual. I'm actually trying to import one for under the 35k budget. What I have found so far is that the manual models seem to be worth around 8k more then the tiptronics. I'm in the process of looking through the auctions for one, but honestly 3 months + wait to import a car would absolutely kill me, I won't be able to function daily knowing I have an awesome car floating around on a ship in the middle of the ocean somewhere.

Hello. Looking to buy one of these cars, but there has been none on sale (patiently waiting) here down in Melbourne. I've seen some good models going for under the 35k mark up north in NSW and QLD. Question is, has anyone gone through the trouble of purchasing interstate? Ideally I would like a unbiased complete report done by a mechanic (stateroads?) or v35 specialist (preferred) so I could fly up and drive it down, is this even safe? But going through all this, I'm even considering importing one from Japan. Any suggestions/opinions/recommendations??? I would ideally want to find one in Melbourne, but there are just none to be found down here and the choices are limited or seem overpriced (kamikaze.com.au have one for 55k), should I keep waiting, or import one to my EXACT specifications with the strength of the Aussie dollar? Another thing, for those in Melbourne, do you usually have it serviced at a 350z specialist, performance specialist, or nissan dealership? Any recommendations around the City, or Doncaster area? Sorry for the many questions, thanks.
