^^ I only thought that redline shouldn't be used in relatively new gearboxes unless there is already a problem.
Hopefully someone can clear it up 100% because i'm due for a change and want to be sure before i do.

Ok so what can be done with people that have worn viscous LSD's,
is replacing them with a new VLSD or a mechanical one the only option?
I would have thought you would ba able to shim them up a little to make them tighter?

Hey,
I have just swapped over from a 180sx that has an unlimited list of aftermarket goodies available to an R34 and I was quite suprised the lack of available parts and options for the 34, sure you can get alot of parts but there isn't much variety if you know what I mean.
But on the other hand I have found they respond very well to mods.
The only let down is the turbo, but there is a sponsor on here that does a Hi-Flow version quite cheap.
As you stated it all realy depends on one's budget.
Hope this helps

From there experience the workmanship was fine it was just realy realy slow!
THey have extended there workshop to next door as well now.
I only go there to use there dyno so I dont know what there like personally working on cars.
But they do sounds like they know what there talking about, and there pretty cheap also.

Doesn't bother me if I see the footage or not, but he had to know of the dangers involved though.

I wonder if they will bag the hamster out like jeremy normally does about the crash.
Should be a good season, they have had a fairbit of time of planning.

I don't think it's as easy as holding it a 4800, they measure when you back off from that so incase it backfires and getting to that RPM, I have done ir before at work for a blue slip and tafe.
They also test starting your car

You dont bleed brakes wen u change pads, and it isn't part of the service! trust me I was an advisor.
If u need to bleed your brakes everytime u change ur pads then something is wrong with ur system.

^ Exactly, Bleed your front AND rear calipers,
There are nipples on them that you undo and it will let any air bubbles pass.
I'm sure there is a article on it somewhere, just have a quick search.

Hey People,
My parents work overseas and they have just picked up a really cheap 69 Mustang, They wanted to know the step's required to import the car to Australia?
They have lived there for roughly 2 years or so. But they are staying oer there, not bringing the car back with them.
Any suggestions??

not 2 mention a shit load of oil/petrol
U.A.E Will be the first country to run out of oil, Hence why they have tried to turn it into a business and trade hub.
Petrol here isn't as cheap as most people would think.
In Saudi on the other hard, I pay 15cents a litre! Now that is hell cheap!

I'm just wondering if you know what HICAS actually is.
In case you don't, its active rear steering. Unfortunately the system is reactive and hydraulically / electrically operated, and so as people have said it doesn't react quickly and at the limit it makes changes you didn't request.
Around town and at 7/10 it probably does improve handling, but if you're really pushing it you may find it counterproductive.
I do know what HICAS is and know how it works, I was a technician for Mitsubishi and aome of there cars have a similar system, but have never heard any cmplaints about if from customers.
Hence when I asked wy people with the Nissan system want it "locked"
Thanks everyone else for the comments

So it will only really be a problem with hard street driving or track?
I haven't really feeled it interfer when driving "spirited" on the streets.
Is there a computer upgrade for it that get rectify the problems at higher levels of driving?
I have seen an altessa system somewhere before? is this it?

Is This Normal For An Lsd?

So it would be well worth it over purchasing say a Kaaz diff, especially if the car isn't used for drift/track?
