  1. Duncan ask an ye shall receive. Yer body needed to be put in place for rear wing mounts, fuel cell etc etc, coming off for paint in the next week or so. Risking looks that way but it is not, there is still another 2 feet of splitter etc to be mounted on the front. And the suspension is all dodge but its been modified to take spherical bearings in the A arms that attach to the chassis. Also the uprights are again dodge but have been machined out to take Pankl centre lock spindles

  3. I was lazy i just brought a painless 12 circuit harness for the new car opened it up last night and it is as it says, well looks that way very painless

    BB i did run the RA's and they were mighty fine too. i guess in a way i will always have a soft spot for the old girl so we are fixing her up to run again this year a few mates of mine will give her a good seeing too though out the year. But clearly once you see the viper ( i know no pics yet ) you can see just why these things are so fast, and bolting in a stock 505 hp and 600 odd ft/pd of torque in a car that is 1100kgs with fluids makes sense to me. Mind you this car is a good foot wider than the old skyline and engine sits barely 125mm off the ground. It will be truely a weapon in the right hands, and with the quality of the other cars arriving it will need to be!

    pity worth a look at the place anyway, book in for a track experience And BB i dont do skids lol. But it is a thing of beauty mate waiting for it to come back from paint shop will post a few pics then. HANDS UP who wants to do a race day in the old skyline ?

    arrr not standard Duc was at stage pumping ouy well over 500 hp and weight in at 1240. but whole different level this year, gtr will get the odd run but gtsr viper will give them a run for their money.

  10. fear not Duncan i didnt sell it and we have a new style haltec ECU they want tested for bugs so she will live again. and we have 7 guys working on bloody cars these days lol so she will still get her dose of lovin even if its someone else lol. I will send you some pics of the current body kits under development, We have an EVO kit now that is what you looking for Brad its now over 180mm wider and sits 35mm off the ground with a full flat bottom, wind splitter, rear difuser etcetc. For the time attack car we are building. Not all that bid a deal i wouldnt think to do the same with the skyline.
  11. ok i am just about to have our guys do a wide body kit for my GTR, i was thinking that i might get them to do an entire front so it can be lifted off in one piece. That and the doors should make quite a difference, i will see how it progresses as only a few days until the GTSR arrives and that will be # 1 priority for a few weeks so might not get it done for a month or so. We are set up for carbon fibre too but lets see how it turns out, how much wider are you going to run the car?

  14. Yer i backed out of the space frame S13 when i had a look at the seat with the bars mounted through it. I would have loved to have done the space frame and i did mention on here some time back but just dont have the skill set to get it done over here yet. So we went for the viper instead. Tell ya whot though Duncan / Risking you could try and squeeze one of these in the car though. woops wont attach picture some reason

Hey Duncan, Had a change of heart we are rebuilding the engine for the old girl as i got her apart last weekend on a 2 day trip backto dubai from Joburg.....was only 47 degrees and pulling a rb26 out of a GTR i need medical help i reckon. Anyway i am going to finish what i started and get engine back together, needs crank rods etc etc. Then fit the wide body kit and then let the engine tuner run it in the GTC class, which seems we can get the old girl down to that power to weight. Had some thoughts on a new look for the oldgirl. Yes the viper will be on a different plant but i think the skyline will always be a favorite, and not just me i have lots of people telling me i have to run it again LOL quite clearly thesepeople dont know what it takes to keep a GTR running

  19. Comon! You lot are meant to be talking me out of this and to continue to run the GTR, even worse today i am sorely tempted to fit wide body kit and have another crack. We raced against a Gen 4 viper this year and its was truely quick, and it was a lightly modified road car. it had no problem with rear grip with 345 rear boots.
  20. I am truely gutted about putting the GTR on the back burner! BB still waiting for the pepper grinder to show up, thinking i might have to start a smeer campain. Tell you what if any one wnats to come on over i might be convinced to let you run the GTR in the GTC class LOL dont know if it would currently carry enough fuel to do 45 minutes, but then the boost would be turned down for the power to weight ratio so it just might. Ohh NICKR33 yer your almost correct i do have a turbo 964, R32 GTR, GTS-R viper, lotus exige are you sure you would want the running costs of that lot! I am not sure i do so!
  21. Roy is a 2000 GTS-R with a SRT10 Viper engine coming to neet it in Dubai in a week or 2 time
