Check tthis timeline out! 2 months ago drove my young cousins R33 GTS-t (couldn't belive how well it went) 1.5 months ago watched a whole heap of DVD's about imports and drifting etc Today went to Mallala with my wife and kids and was completely blown away. Am now in the market for a GTR Considering that i grew up with holdens and chevs at the drags this is an amazing turnaround. Anyone else had a similar experince coz I saw all types of people at Mallala today and was amazed. My daughters are 6 and 8 and they absolutely loved the drifting. They coudn't stop talking about it all the way home. I feel like a born again revhead

Is it worth considering a cheaper run down GTR or should you spend the extra money to track down a good example. I am fairly good with all things mechanical and electrical. I built my LC from a bare shell having nothing at all, not even nuts and bolts to start with. I would find someone to do the motor and gearbox but everything else seems do-able. Am i kidding myself here or what?

It might seem a decent R32 GTR is slightly out of my price range for now so i was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with the gts4. They seem like a good thing. Is it possible to put the larger RB26 or RB25 in them?

I have just started looking for my dream car, an R32 GTR. I was about 18 when they first came to Bathurst and conquered. Could anyone point me in the direction of a good importer or dealer that they have had dealings with. Also any tips on what to look out for would be appreciated.
