  1. Hey, I'm after the following parts, all which are aftermarket: 1. Stelth Wing / D Wing / Drift Wing 2. Clear Side Indicators 3. L.E.D Taillights 4. Aftermarket Grill All needed ASAP for a R33 GTST Series 1. Please text me on 0401 570 301 Cheers.
  2. PM's replied. I am after 1, 4 and 5. NissWreck, can you PM me prices for the parts you have please? Thanks.
  3. Changed! Updated! Please PM Me!
  4. If it was water vapour, what would cause that? At stages, there becomes quite large amounts of smoke, I really want to make sure I know the problem before spending any money, like you said don't want to fork out $1500 and find out it's still doing it.
  5. So, If the valve stem seals need to be done - what needs to be done to the head? and what should be done to the head while its off? Cheers!
  6. Thats the thing, it really bugs me - lol funny enough I just want everything running right, when you start it up cold, first 2 minutes is fine then when it starts to smoke it slowly gets more smoky until theres quite a bit of smoke in the air - I hate it. I've only got the one quote so far, and they've said $1500 or less. I guess while the head is off I'll do what needs to be done and what should be done, since the car had the bottom end rebuilt 4-5mts ago I might as well finish it and do the top. Thats weird, $330 for Valve Steam Seals on there own from Nissan, but the Nissan VRS kit, you get the gaskets, seals, headgaskets and the valve stem seals cheaper. But, I'll keep you updated, thanks very much though been very helpful
  7. Ah alright, that was quite helpful thank-you. I was told my the mechanic who said it was the turbo seals that I should do that, but I guess there's no point? How much do you think I'd be looking at to get the head completely rebuilt?
  8. Fair enough, I want to make sure 100% before I go spending $1500 on getting the valve stem seals done. I was told I can take the turbo off and check the dump pipe side of the turbo for oil and leave it on its side overnight and see if any oil leaks to rule that out. I've checked the otherside, being the side with the fins etc and that was fine, really clean and zero shalf play.
  9. Hey, Some of you may know that I posted a topic about a week ago, regarding a issue with white smoke coming from the exhaust, I thought I had fixed it - but obviously I haven't. Just a quick run down on what we've worked out so far, Once the car has been sitting for a extended period (eg: overnight and after work) the car will blow a bit of white smoke from the exhaust. If the car is warm, or hasn't been sitting for more then, say 8 hours its fine. Spark Plugs (Iridium) and Oil (Royal Purple) have both been changed to rule out any minor issue. It's come down to two things now I think, either the turbo seals or the valve stem seals. I'm not sure what one it is ..yet but I'm trying to work on that. Probably take the turbo off this weekend and have a look. But, here's what a couple of different experts had to say: A Mechanic said: It's the valve stem seals, the fact it sits overnight etc its leaking oil while its sitting and then once the car gets warm its burning the excess smoke. B Mechanic said: It's the turbo seals, the fact that its sitting overnight etc, its leaking oil into the dump pipe and when the car is warm it burns it. Whats your opinions?
  10. I've just updated the first post, I'm now just after the drivers side regulator and the drivers side inner guard. Thanks guys!
  11. Roughly how much are you looking for posted to Brisbane?
  12. 1. What size of tyre do you mainly need? 18" 2. What do you mainly use your tyres for? Daily driving 3. What is the main reason that you buy your tyres from your supplier (New or Used)? Example: Cost? Service? I bought my last set of tyres recently from my supplier because they seemed quite helpful over the telephone and were more then happy to answer any questions I had. Also due to the fact the tyres at the time were on sale, decent brand of tyre at a cheaper rate. ..and I guess that it was the few of many tyre places open on Saturday. 4. Would your driving style change if the cost of tyres was dramatically dropped? No, I'd have no reason to. 5. What would you consider a fair price for a decent used set of 2 tyres? (Example: Bridgestone Potenza RE040 with 40% tread or more) Second hand tyres are always going to vary in price, I know a local company that sell second hand tyres that have up to 80% tred, never bought from them however I have a friend who works there, but they range from $40 up to about $85 a tyre - I think thats only for 18's though. 6. Would you be interested a bit extra if I could deliver to your door? For daily driving, it's not often you need brand new tyres - I guess I'd prefer to take it to the local tyre shop only reason being they have the equipment to put the tyres on, balance, alignment etc. But, on the other hand for someone who does a lot of drifting, track days it maybe convenient for them. 7. Would you be interested in paying slightly more for same day delivery? For someone who does a lot of drifting, track days it maybe convenient for them. 8. What is your preferred brand of tyre? To be honest, I don't really have one. 9. Would be interested in a fair rebate for every friend you refer? That would work quite well I hope this helps Dan, all the best!
  13. Seems I've fixed the problem, something to do with the spark plugs. Weird, but its all good now Thanks for everyones help. Aron
  14. I'll check my breather hoses today, but I don't have a catch can on the car though. By the way, thanks to everyone who has been trying to help me Hopefully I can get it sorted soon.
  15. When I first start the car it's steam, after a couple of minutes it becomes smoke. Here's the latest; Started the car tonight at work to let it warm up as usual, noticed white smoke again, reved the car a little bit and I got alot more white smoke and black smoke too. It also smells like oil/fuel.. Could it be a bad dose of fuel?
  16. Just my suggestion, but for radiator hoses - you may as well buy new ones from Autobarn/Supercheap/Repco or direct from Nissan. There is no point in using second hand hoses.
  17. Hey there, I'm chasing a drivers side inner guard for a R33 GTST, if anyone has one in good condition please PM me, thanks. I'm located in Brisbane, would prefer to pick one up but if your interstate I'll pay delivery costs too. Thanks, Aron
  18. But, not large amounts like I'm getting at night on cold starts?
  19. Alrighty, here's just an update, I've fixed that coolant leak I had, I had another look at the white smoke I started it up this morning when the car was cold, and there is a minimal amount of white smoke, probably from the cold start? Took it for another drive, power seems good, if not better then usual - I guess I'll have to see if it smokes tonight after work while letting the car warm up. I don't think its the turbo seals, because if it was it'd be doing it all the time. It could be the valve stem seals because it only happens when the car is cold, but its only happing at night so its confusing. Maybe there's a little bit of oil in the intercooler piping? I'll give that a clean soon see if that gets rid of it. Or, lastly, could just be my head  If anyone has any other ideas, suggestions please do let me know Thank-you very much for your help.
  20. I've used Royal Purple SAE 10W-40 for quite a few months and never had this problem. It's while the car is idle, once I'm driving I can't notice any white smoke but it's hard to tell when your in the drivers seat. Even on really cold start ups, colder then the last two nights I haven't had this problem. However, I noticed only one drip of condensation/water from the tip of the exhaust.
  21. Hey there, The last two of nights when leaving work (11pm) the car has been blowing a large amount of white smoke from the exhaust system. I'm not sure why, hence the reason for this post. The car is a 1993 Nissan Skyline GTST I've only noticed this white smoke on Tuesday night but didn't take too much notice thinking it was just because it was cold. But, It's happed again tonight and it's got me worried as its a little more then usuall on cold start-ups. The car didn't seem to have any of this white smoke during the day - on start up or driving down to the local Autobarn. Recently the car has had an oil change, oil filiter change and a few weeks before that had a complete coolant flush as the Water Pump needed to be replaced. The car has also had a complete forged rebuild about 5 months ago, and also a Haltetc ECU installed about 2 months ago - I'm also running the stock turbo. Tomorrow I guess I'm going to start with cleaning the intercooler pipes and probably check the spark plugs while I'm at it. Also have a small coolant leak which I'll also fix tomorrow. Only other thing I think it maybe is the turbo seals, but honestly I hope its not! I've tried to provide as much information as I could, but any questions or anything I'd be more then happy to answer them - really want this issue fixed Thanks again, Aron
  22. Hey there, Most of you would probably know that the R33 GTST has an autolock, so once the car gets over 25km/hr I think it is the doors automaticlly lock themselves. For somereason mine have stopped doing that, I've checked all fuses in the car, but they all seem to be alright. I've taken out the Power Window Regulator (Black Box inside the Drivers Door) because I need to get a new one but I don't think that has anything to do with it, or does it? It stuffed up before I took the regulator out, but the regulator has been playing up.. Any other ideas? Thank-you Aron
  23. All PM's Replied, Thanks. Still after the parts at the moment.
