  1. That's cool ! Now, it's still winter time, i'll leave it running with the pods then the pannel filter for the summer => no more hastle ..... Cheers!!
  2. I did search about this attesa controll topic, but I haven't satisfied because all GTRs can use after market torque split controlls (such as an HKS unit for example) to adjust the desire split levels. I've seen some footages about street drag in Japan, gtr33 and gtr34 did a massive burn out b4 they lined up. Hmm, how did they manage to do that without burning the clutch packs in the transfer case??? What I'm thinking is when we adjust the torque controll module at 0, means no torque transfer, isn't this equivalent to remove the fuse ( no torque transfer too) ??? can any one make this clear?? CHEERSS !!
  3. hmmm!! I wonder what kind of panel fiter are using in Mine's GTR34 and Z-tune and how much are they worth (aust $) ?? Anyway, thanks for the advices guys. cheers!!!
  4. that's interesting to know. But it's abit strange that the others told me that we should gain about 5kw with the apexi pod filters over the stock panel one, isn't this true ???
  5. as I mentioned, we had to run it in rwd mode (on a 4wd dyno) because during the tuning the 4wd check light came on and the torque didn't split at all. So the mechanic took a risk !!!
  6. but hang on. The 4wd check light was on, that means the torque didn't split at all. Doesn't it mean that the car was performed on rwd only??? and we ran it on a 4wd dyno (not 2wd dyno) in the rwd mode(no torque split). This way , do we still have to remove the front drive shaft?? and it was strange that it ran like a 100% rwd car when we rev up...
  7. ouch!! that hurts !!! I shouldn't bring my car there in the first place...dame!!!
  8. so, what's the correct number when the torque split is not active ???
  9. Just can't wait for the result. But strange that 4wd and a-lsd are on together. Aren't they seperate lines ??
  10. Hi guys, I'm looking for a cold air box to cover up the two apexi pod filters, but don't know who supplies them. I'm not dressing up the engine bay, so a simpe one will do... If anyone knows where and how much, please let me know thanks....really appriciated. cheers !!

  12. COOL !! that's a costy way to test but !! hehe Any way, while tuning my car on a 4wd dyno, the 4wd and a-lsd check light came on together but we didn't know how to fix it. So we decided to run on rwd mode. As I noticed, it ran like a 100% rwd (front wheels didn't move) and when we let go the accelerator, the front wheels started to catch up a bit. Now it smells like a clutch burn (in the transfer case possibly). I wasn't sure where the smell is from, because i dripped some oil while doing an oil change before the dyno day. So, what do you reckon?? the smell is from the oil that I dripped or from a burned clutch?? it's been a week already but the smell is still there. cheers!!
  13. Hi guys, After fitted a Turbo Smart boost controller (single stage gated type) into my gtr34, it didn't show any affects. The boost remain the same at max of 0.88 - 0.89 bar (I want to set it at 1.0bar) even when I turned the adjuster to max (+). I've tried to rotate the cotroller around and nothing changed. Please tell me what to do to make this simple mod works. CHEERS !!
  14. Hi guys, If we remove the 4wd fuse (gtr34 v-spec) to measure the rwkw on a 4wd dyno, what will affect or damage to the drive line?? In normall driving condition (without torque split), is it true that the gtrs are running permanant on 25% front and 75% rear power?? Any explains would be appriciated, CHEERS !!!
