Hey ladies and gents, does anyone know the mininum spec ( thickness ) for rotors before they have to be changed? upgrading brakes on the weekend and probably should measure my rotors before i change pads. cheers gambel

thanks sheng, have done a bit of searching but there is nothing like my question, everyone else seems to be running 12psi already with the same power as i get on 9psi. yer just those mods, no aftermarket computer or anything like that.

Hey everyone that reads this, Hopefully this is just a simple question, I currently have 203rwkw in my r34 gtt with fmic, full stainless exhaust with ceramic coated dump pipe and a apexi pod ( also not tuned yet ), now i also have a turbotech manual boost controller which is set at 9psi, i hear that r34 can run 12psi safely but that also the ceramic turbo cant do much more than 200kw, so my question is can i bump 3 more psi into this engine or will things get nasty? I will thank you all now for the responses.

R32 is a mean looking car especially the GTR, very nice shape. R33 dulled down to much, to rounded for my liking (each to their own i guess) doesnt look mean enough R34 heaven on a stick, love the headlights, can't beat the small big stovetops at the back either, looks menacing on the street. V35 not my cup of tea especially those taillights....yuck, they do sit nice and flat to the ground though. R35 never seen it can't comment.

i usually wave to skyline and stagea drivers, i only dont when they have dissed me before, there are a few in newy who dont like to acknowledge fellow liners, to cool for school some of em.

definately go turbo, pretty cheap these days plus you'll kick yourself in a few months if you go na.

Amir old buddy old pal should never of let the liner go, you may get us off the line but doesn't take long to pull you in, i have ran a few rexes ( closed circuit of course ) and i have got most off the line and if i didn't i reeled em in before third.

with a name like spin psycle it implies you dont mind a burn out or two. dude i want people to race but that's what tracks and drag strips are for, i mean sure i've had a couple of runs on the street who hasnt, with other skyline owners of course but thats just for shits and giggles and theres respect at the end not like other car drivers who wanna prove how good they are and when you flog them they continue to accelerate to like 140 past you....tossers. i looooooovvvvveeeee a good burn out oohhh yer!!! Tailgating really burns my piss as well 95sky especially people in forbys with bullbars who try and intimidate you, thats when you take your foot off the accelerator and coast to like 40 haha.

I know this has been covered many times but i had to bring it up again, what is the deal with wannabe skyline owners thinking that we will care if they sit next to us and rev their engines? On the way home this arvo i had 3 p platers in commos try to race me, a bloke in an xr6 go screaming past me and another guy in a new sr5 hilux hang out the window and say " wanna race " i mean god damn it's getting pretty old, and that was within an hour. Does anyone know of any shops in NSW or close to newcastle that remap standard R34 ecu's, i've found mercury motorsport but there a bit far away? It doesnt feel like its making the power it should be, so i'm thinking i need a tune. I know i should really buy aftermarket but it doesnt need it at the minute cause only light mods, plus i'm a cheapskate. LOL. its actually the opposite ctjet cruise control is a fuel saver. i have it on my falcon to drive to work as its an hour away and i love it, just kick back and away ya go, no chance of getting done by the boys in blue as well, have to be careful in the rain though nearly came unstuck using it when i hit a large puddle. would never get it on my liner though would take the fun out of driving it. ----------- remember kids smoke tyres not drugs ------------

it's all good now just connected the new ground wire to the old one which was a big no no , simply disconnected them and grounded from new head unit directly to chassis. I also answered my own question and for anyone else who wants to know that in an r34 ( maybe all cars ) the dash lights are on the same fuse as the tail lights. -----------------remember smoke tyres not drugs------------------

just finished installing new stereo in my r34 gtt, all went well except went for a drive last night and dash lights and centre console lights don't work as well as rear lights ( brake lights still working as well as headlights ) been trying to find problem all day, checked tail light fuse and was blown put new in blown to, was thinking that dash and tail lights use same fuse? and don't know why it keeps blowing new fuse. help please!!!!!!!!!!!
