  1. Just got a KEAS shift kit installed in my R33 auto. Gear changes are lightning fast and it cherp's second no worries. Shifting from 1st to 2nd can be harsh at low speed but overall impressive. What i want to know is, are these shift kits safe or will my auto box terminate in the near future? I could not imagine a transmission company like KEAS making these shifters for auto transmissions if they were a ticking time bomb.

    Overall very impressive.

  2. Thanks for your help mate. I have had the SAFC installed for 6 months now. DIY job. I have no idea how to tune it, neither did the guy who i took it to. The mechanic was having a conversation with the boss and i could tell it was regarding " how the hell do i do this one boss" and the response was install a Haltec mate these are crap. I showed him the instructions on tuning the SAFC and he pressed a fue buttons and chucked it back in the glove box.

  3. Question about piggy back's in auto's

With E manage and SAFC type piggy back ecu's and your stock ecu still having the boost/air flow cut out limits, speed limit etc etc. Is it possible that any of these piggy back ecu's SAFC or E manage ultimate can overide the factory cut out limits programed to stock ecu.

I need a good ECU for my auto R33 GTST with Gt 2530 turbo and i have had my transmission decked out with bigger shifters.

What can i do about the shit factory tune?

  4. After picking up my 1996 S2 R33 in November 2006 with 84 000 kms on the clock i found a service sticker behind the fuel door that was marked 120 000 km service due 10/ 2004. I was an innocent victim of the scams done by these scum bag importers. The car is in excellent condition and you would not be able to pick up on the fact the odometer was tampered with. No service books came with the car as i am the second Aus owner.

  5. The blitz LM cooler is a great cooler. The installation is straight forward and instructions are not really needed. There is only one thing i don't like about it, the weld on the inlet pipe bend that is visible through the S2 front bar. I am using the cooler with hks 2530 turbo and has great response. You cant beat Nengun for price, i find there tracking service excellent.

  6. I did mine in a day. You need to cut away about 20 mm from the underside of the reo bar. You cut both sides of the bar, making a strait edge instead of a concave. You need a grinder. As for the front bar, use a Dremel multi pro to cut out all other platic away. Measure once cut twice.. You may need help to make it easier. Good cooler overall.
