What power are you doing with the walbros donut_kng?
Yep absolutely agree that fail safe can be setup for drop in pressure, which ill likely being doing with the link anyway regardless of which way I go. I have found totally conflicting info on some pumps. For eg, I looked up the proflow 044 alternate pump today, and one site said yep 100% e85 safe, the other was like, will decrease pump life by running e85.
To be honest I think there is some trickery with words getting around for e85 compatibility, if your pump can run e85 initially and it only last 6 months, does that still classify it as e85 compatible?. For me as far as I am concerned the 044 pumps are not e85 safe, despite what people may say about them.
How have the walbros been in that respect donut_kng? I know those are rated as e85 safe.
I'm making 525rwkw with this and it has been doing that since 2013, without ever opening the surge tank, I'm probably due to check the socks hanging off the pumps etc
Regardless it's fair to say the walbros do the job just fine as I have never had an issue with it.
I definitely recommend a fuel pressure gauge, as I did have an issue with the hat on the fuel tank which restricted the return line and made the pressure jump to over 100psi.. had I not had the gauge to spot it straight away I'd hate to know what would have happened eventually
I think people have issues using the wrong type of hose which breaks down internally- 1

I have a pioneer deck that's pretty much new that I'm willing to sell.
Bought it for my car and ended up getting given another deck for it -
If the tyres are mega sticky third gear will go eventually, I have done this three times doing anything from simple changes launching to just a light clutch pump. I run a direct twin plate so there is zero slip.
Slip is annoying as hell especially when you've built the thing to have power. -
Rear will hang out the guards 10-20mm depending on camber
-
I run a standard rb25 throttle body and get 525rwkw at 30psi.. so fair to say No need

Radium Surge tank with twin walbro 400s submerged in the surge tank making them silent
Depending on the ECU you have surely you could setup a fail safe in case you drop fuel pressure?- 3

Howdy,
After having my forged 25/30 running in my R33 for almost 2 years now, I would from time to time hear the odd 'single lifter noise'.
The engine still has hydraulic lifters, all of which have been replaced as a part of the build although now after a bit of time I still get the odd lifter tapping away, after giving it a hard time up the mountains, to which after cruising a bit it would then go away, although now as of late, it is now tapping/clicking 24/7.
I usually run Valvoline acing formula 50 oil which is a 25/60 - thinking this was the issue I experimented with a Penrite 15/30 - it actually made the noise louder. Also the hotter the engine running the noisier it gets - no surprises here.
The car pulls about 500kw on 30psi E85 although mostly driven on around 20psi on pump, and never limiter bashed. The RPM only is set to 7000 anyways so nothing huge compared to standard I would have thought.
Have been looking at this kit http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Tomei-Forged-Solid-Lifters-Kit-for-Nissan-R33-R32-RB25-RB20-VG30-/360524217648 and http://www.nengun.com/tomei/valve-lifters which I cant seem to find much info on any successful applications - has anyone used this?
The head already has sold type cams just need to make a call on which way to go with the lifters or if there is any other option available to me? Or anywhere in Sydney that could help me out?
I don't intend to push any more power out of the car and will happily turn the boost down after I sort this out if that's what it takes - as all that power out of 2 wheels isn't essential!

To suit r33 just need a centre and shafts but will take a complete diff

I have one that I may part with , PM Me an offer?

I've used royal purple which worked well in a tight shimmed diff back in the days of the struggle.
I have some sort of mineral oil that was recommended by a diff specialist which seems ok but will be keen to try the OS
