  3. I actually met James Courtney last year and actually asked him about it, he used to race supras in jgtc (not 100% on this but think he also won an award for being the fastest overall driver in one of the seasons??), but races a ford V8 supercar now for jeld wen motorsport, came second this year in bathurst i'm pretty sure?

anyway, from what he said, they tested the jgtc cars at qld raceway once in the off season, and they were about 10 sec a lap quicker than the v8 supercar times. so they are pretty quick, but it's not really a fair comparison, they are completely different cars, built to completely different rules and regs.

Even the V8's now are pretty quick, if you have a look at the current V8 times around bathurst etc. you'll prob find that they are quicker than the group A r32 gtr's.. race car technology has gotten a lot better since the early 90's i guess.

Still would be great to see more makes fighting it out, instead of just fords and holdens..

    just my 2c!

  4. Used to have racing spec damper in my R32 GTR... given a smooth flat piece of road they handle awesome... but for everyday too stiff is a huge understatement... used to drive me nuts :)

for a daily, sydneykid group buy FTW!!!

    i miss my gtr.. ;)

  5. damn.. that summed up my high school days to a tee!

at least i'm not the only one!

also +1 for feeling like some1 is going to jump into your car after crossing the westgate!! haha

  6. Hi guys,

after selling the gtr i decided i still need something fun so i took good friends motorbike off him! Came with brand new gear aswell!

prob is... helmet has been scraped all down the side after another friend was careless with it.., not dropped just scratched and doesn't look its best.

I'm just annoyed because it was a brand new agv helmet in gloss black, and now its got a big dirty scrape down the side. Does anyone know where i could go to get this touched up, or buffed out??

Any help would be much appreciated!

    thanks,

    Dave

  7. I run the RDA grooved sports rotors on my 32R, they are also dimple drilled, coupled with EBC greenstuff pads for the street they work pretty good, low noise, and low dust, plus the rotors look awesome.

used to have ultimates with dba slotted rotors... nowhere near as good imo, ultimates are loud, and too dusty, i found i went through them super quick aswell, without much hard driving at all.
