So my understanding is the the little plastic bit is suppose to be inside the speedo cable it self not in the back of the dash? is that correct? Sigsputnik: if your speedo works i highly doubt the plastic thing has fallen as it is the mechanism that drives the speedo.

hey guys, After doing a few hoops i looked down to see that my speedo had died, so i contiuned to check if the cable was broken, the thing is i dont know because the inside of the cable is spinning but the little plastic thing was not attched to the cable, it was in the back of the speedo? Does this mean its broken as im sure the little plastic needle comes attched with the cable. any experiences? Cheers

Ive got a black car so it won't look that different. It will fit you just have to cut the cat housing a bit. As for cancer and contributing to the death of the environment.. you guys are funny. I think it evens out for me acually, i ride to work and catch the train to uni so i only drive my rig on the weekends which is alot better for the environment. The lazy cu*ts who drive everywhere and would rather sit for 1hr in macas drive through than walk into the place and be in and out in 5 mins are the ones you guys should be angry at. cheers.

Is there an epa in QLD any way? and how do they know that YOU put it on. Im just asking does it make it much louder and what experiences has people had. Lthlrb can you smell the fumes in the cabin while your driving? It is a risk no doubt. which i think the owner of the car should take resposiblity for...each to their own really.

mmm, im just think if its done right with the right flanges welded on..it would probably cost less.. make a little more power and not be noticable unless the cat was un bolted..

Bump! will take any colour just has to be unmodified, m spec, and around bris!

Just get a complete vl turbo rb30et setup...exhaust manifold, turbo, xover pipe etc etc it bolts stright up. Check calaisturbo.com.au forums usally has all the parts you need for your conversion. This is an easy conversion ive done it with an old vl be4. Took me half a day and i was boosting up the street. Once you get a cooler wind up the boost to about 9/10psi and feel the power of a hi compression low boost setup! i must add that this has been done many a time with and without reliabilty issues. thats a bit better than $$250 second hand that i just got quoted!, the hide of some people. so r32 and r33 afms are interchangable/the same? i got a mate with a 33 so if its the problem ill pm you 2rismo

you said you bolts wouldnt fit? mine fitting and lined up with the holes no worrys just i couldnt get ANY tool in there to tighten it. i was thinking a smaller hex head say from 13 mm to 10mm? my car is a 32 and it was a front and dump combined.

ok guys problem is still there. *when i unplugged the air flow meter and went for a drive it behaved exackly as it did with it plugged in! *and the flashing light(above link) after cutting the cat sensor light is still on! *i also took the kick panel off the passenger side (didn't remove from brackets) and noticed there was a red light that seemed to be continiuosly on? *intercooler piping is sealed and tight as.

have they got a good adjustable spring in them so it ges off at high boost pressure only. they remind me of wrxs.
