  1. These pods are rare aren't they? I'm glad I bought my car already with them
  2. If you plan on getting an HID kit, don't get anything higher than 6000k. In my opinion, don't get 6000k either. I've got them and they're way too blue. If I were to buy a kit again, I would definately get 4300k. Most people get 6000k, but I think it's too blue. What BATMBL said about the blue-ish light from the Audi's is correct. It all from the projectors.
  3. The plastic thing you're talking about, is it the cap thing? Or are you talking about the dust cover? If I remember correctly, I took out my plastic holder thing (but I've got H3 globes to replace the H3C). I just took out the plastic thing, held the globe in by the clip and left the dust cover there to stop the dust Not too sure if that made any sense to you :laughing-smiley-014:
  4. I always thought there was a metal clip to hold in the globe. Do you have one? Cause that's the only thing that's holding my globes in place. Are we talking about the same thing?
  5. Good luck mate, hope it all gets fixed.
  6. I think it was high 200's, but then I thought the RB20 injectors could only handle 220rwkw max so maybe the GTR injectors can handle 300rwkw+
  7. Any chance you've got a fmic installed? I noticed that I had to blimp my throttle everytime I start the car in the mornings for it to get going after I installed my fmic. Not sure why it happened after the installation of the cooler, but I've had to. A little blimp of the throttle to get the car going isn't a big deal.
  8. I'm not too sure mate, I think it depends on how worn out your engine I think. The more worn/old it is, the thicker the oil should be. I don't know much about oils honestly. Hopefully someone who does know will come and give their recommendations.
  9. I'm really surprised at the numbers people are getting, I thought 220rwkw was the MAX these injectors could be pushing. Guess it all depends on your tuner.
  10. Chances are it could be your shocks because you're running lower, stiffer springs without a dust cover. I'm not saying it is your shocks that are stuffed, but it's highly likely. If you're after shocks, I heard the shocks in Sydneykid's group buy was good for the king springs you have? Check them out and see what you think. You can install the shocks yourself and save yourself some $$. It's not that hard.
  11. If it's hard for the car to start on cold mornings, maybe try a different oil? Maybe the oil is too thick?
  12. Yeah, these laws are coming in on the 1st of July 2008 if I remember correctly.
  13. It sounds like your shocks are gone mate. The rubbery thing you took out was probably the dust cover. It was there to prevent water, dirt and dust from getting into your shocks. Looks like you need new shocks, but since you lowered your car, you should've got new shocks anyway to handle the lowered and stiffer springs.
  14. Those are pretty high numbers. I expected the numbers to be around 220rwkw MAX.
  15. An ARC smic I can hold up to 200rwkw if i remember correctly. I would assume the lag wouldn't be much different from stock. The piping isn't longer than stock is it? At 14psi, I would say that a smic is enough, but what happens when you want bigger power? In my opinion, I would get a good fmic to start off. No point wasting money on things and buying again later on.
  16. Make sure you remember to post pics when you get them on.
  17. Some have pushed over 200rwkw out of the stock injectors. I would assume that they're running at there max though. If you're aiming for 200rwkw+, best to get some GTR injectors.
  18. Honestly mate, do a search and to answer your question, yes, that's all you need to flutter. A coke can to block up the bov hole. All you need to do is cut a can into the shape of the base of the bov, and block that hole up. Just do a quick search and you should find all the info you need.
  19. Yeah, they'll fit. The standard wheel specs are: Stud pattern 5x114.3 and +20 offset. Imagine that, a ford falcon ea with hardcore Jap spec wheels
  20. Leave the indicators as they are mate, looks good as it is and you don't want trouble from the police aswell. Cheers, Adam
  21. Very clean ride man. Is that factory paint by any chance? And are your front indicators tinted? Cheers, Adam
  22. It sure is. It's about a 10min job(drink the coke, take off bov, trace shape then cut). I did it a while ago, but then the car started to backfire and I got sick of it. If you like the sound, do it. It doesn't matter what others think. If you like it, do it. You're the one driving it, not them. Cheers, Adam
  23. Get a coke can and cut it into a shape of the bov's base then put it underneath your bov. You should now flutter. Cheers, Adam
  24. Yeah, gauges in the A-pillar would be illegal and it's something to do with being in an accident and your head hitting it. I think the law was that, nothing can be installed higher than the highest point of your steering wheel. Let's say you put your steering wheel to its maximum height, the top of your steering wheel is your limit. Again, this is just what I've heard so.... Cheers, Adam
  25. Would they fine you $1000 and take away 3 demerit points for having engine modifications? It's gonna be pretty hard for those who want to be in the Jap car scene to buy a car without atleast one engine mod. Chances are, the car's going to have a pod or an exhaust. Cheers, Adam
