  1. Over a yr later I'm back on . I had 1 coil pack go and a faulty injector . Car runs like a bullet train now on boost . Now the only probly is if can take a bit to start ( pump accelerator ) and somtimes back fire on start up . I've done a compression test . All good . So yeah bit of a timing problem .
  2. It's getting harder to own a skyline these days and the sene is very much changing. The Import sene will always be on in WA just most of us are all getting a little older and smarter! Most ppl now days that own skylines only drive them on weekends, cruises or the race track . There still heaps of imports out there just ppl are changing the way they Own them . The cops have made it bloody hard too .I cringe when they go past me in my white and black 33 4door.
  3. I think I've nailed the problem My CAS has moved.
  4. New fuel filter is in. The AAC is all clean. The car idles now but still missing and coughing underload. The cars now running ritch and the ignitior is very very hot. The plugs have been gaped to 0.8
  5. Fresh. 3 day's old! I'm goin to put a new fuel filter in the 33 today. If the problem is still there I'm going to clean the AAC valve and put more new plugs in.
  6. My skyline uses a MAP I'm slowly narrowing it down to coil packs but I've got splitfires. I've never had a problem with them...
  7. Me too I've had a few skylines. I checked the spark and my plugs were very dirty after only a week of moving the car around the garage. I think my coils are stuffed but wat could be causing the ignitior to kill my splitfire coilpacks. Evilness!
  8. Hey guys after my car has been sitting for a couple of months and not driving on any roads only idling around a paint shop and car park, I decided to drive my car home to do some other work to it. When I started the car up the idle sounded alittle different. It didn't worry me until I took off on the road and it missed and stalled and wouldn't start inless foot is flat.Ok so the car will start first very well when cold and will idle well for about a minute after that it misses chases idle and sounds dreadfull. I've done the following mods before the car about 18 months ago. Car was running beautifully. Wolf Ecu R34highflow plasmaman intercooler kit Dual stage boost Full 3 inch Splitfire coilpacks packs Borsh fuel pump. 3inich metal intake. no bov. The car was running 16psi and never missed or carried on until now. Anybody out there ever had this problem.Or know what it could be? Thanx guys
  9. Thanx I will try that. I am also running a S2 AFM
  10. Hey ppl late last yr I brought anther 4 door R33 which is an auto. This one had an wolf ecu in it. Which has been put into my other R33 4 door which is a manual. Ok I swapped my manual ecu and put it into the auto car. The car ran like a dream for ages bout 4 months. Then revease and 1st went bang.Bugger! So I got anther 4speed automatic and a S1 auto Ecu.The problem is the car runs like crap. It nearly stalls when slowing down and surges at times. Why would this be? What's coursing this problem. As a test i even put the manual Ecu back into the car and ran fine.Anybody know what the problem is? Thanks.

  15. Well ive worked out what im doin with my motor. Im gonna rebuild it myself, with help from my mechanic who's had alot of experience in building performance motors. I will be pulling it to bits myself but getting help with putting it back together again! Im looking at doin a full rebuild. Im gonna get a bottom end rebuild kit from horsepowerinabox.com and Ive got a workshop manual. Im just hopeing that machining isnt gonna cost too much! My mechanic has recommended a head tidy up aswell! So work will be started tomorrow !
