ok,, umm i dunno if this is meant to be correct or not,, but i got mine dynoed ,, and i was getting 177rwkw, and mine is stock! except exhaust,,,, standard boost and all,, even down to the factory air filter,, but it was running a bit crap lately and ecu has error's 17 & 46,, might get it dynoed again,, to make sure everything is running ok,, it was dynoed in shootout mode,, edit:- mine is manual,, AFRO

same way you do the other skyline,,, find the diagnostic plug,,,, its under the driver's side dash... have a look underneath,, the dash,, alsmost inline with the accelerator pedal,,, (i think),,, there should be a small black cover,, take that out,, and on it will be attached a grey plug,, i used the paper clip method,, u get to diagnostic mode,, i'll try to take pics to show where the plug is,, but you should find it fairly easily,, type in "paper clip ecu" in the search path, and i'm sure u'll come up with something,, if u get code 55, than all is fine with the ecu diagnostic either way,, i still have the errors,, its so annoying,,, car is running perfectly,,,

how much did it cost u to get the modified ecu? where from?

hmmm,, my abs light isnt on,, fuse isn't blown either.. and still getting 17 & 46,,, just went and checked again to make sure,, might try out my abs tomorrow to see if it makes any difference,, ya,, its got me stumped,,,

, none,, except exhaust,,, everything else is standard,,, i also checked all the coils,, they all had about the same resistance,, can't remember how much it was,, but they were all the same,, so i figured it wouldn't be the coils,,, i sprayed wd40 in all the connectors i could get to,, but still the error keeps coming up,, its wierd,, coz the car seems to be running fine,, except for the misfire here and there,,,, but its the error codes thats got me baffled,,

hey everyone,, my car was misfiring a bit recently,,,, so first thing i did today was run the ecu diagnostic,, ran the engine for a few mins,, then ran the diagnostic,, and came up with error 17 & 46,, thought it might have something to do with the car not being warm enough,, so i wamed up the car,,, but it still showed the same error,,,, while i was there, i ran the 02 sensor diagnostic,, that came out fine,, wierd thing is,, last week i was only getting error 55,, i.e all good,, and now am getting 17 & 46,, and i can't find out what these mean,,, car seems to be running fine,, i.e boosting,,,, had the plugs checked out few weeks back,, they r fine,, injectors are clean,, anyone got any idea's? AFRO

I don't know too much about forged rims myself,, but i thought the edges/lips of most can be re-rolled out,,,, thats y i reckon the back ones can be fixed,,, If anyone is intyerested,, let me know,, i'm just clearing out stuff that i don't need,, and i've had it sitting here for a while,,, either that,,, or i can use it as a very expensive Hose Reel!!! :wassup: Afro

nope,. they don't have xenon written on them,,, like i said, they are h4 headlights,, and i don't like the look of em, :throwup: , i.e thats y i wanna swap to the xenon headlights,, and see if the aftermarket hid bulbs will just fit straight in... hopefully someone might wana do a headlight swap,, heheh,,

Hi guys,, ok,, had a read through all the forums about xenon's on r34's.. but i'm still a bit confused,, I have, A Bellof HID kit.. used to be on a r33. Ok,, so i wanna know if, the Bellof HID bulb will fit straight into the r34 xenon headlight socket? or will i have to modify the xenon headlight socket to suit a h4 bulb? coz the Bellof HID kit use to fitt straight into the r33 h4 socket. I can't figure out why my r34 didnt have xenons headlight.. its a 2000 GTT ,series II. Its only got the h4 headlights!!. The Bellof Kit, will fit into the h4 headlight,, but i want the xenon headlights.

Coolio,, thanks for that,,, while i'm at it,,, how many of you guys have the 2way/pager alarm systems,, the one where it shows/alerts ya if ur car is being broken into etc etc,, usually has remote engine start features too,,,, I want to put that in ,,,,,, only one i know that is decent so far is the viper one,, anyone got any other brands i can look into???? If i stain the seats,, then i'll have the same problems in removing it like u guys are having at the moment. Might have to try BIG KEV'S stain remover,,, :wassup: heheheheh,,,,,

yup they were of a r33 series II The rims didn't need any spacers

ya i'm frantically looking around for a reasonable insurance company,,, coz the car might get here from cairns either on friday or monday,,, anyone got any contacts with insurance ppl , i.e discounts,,,, any way i can put it under my dad's name and get a cheaper quote,,,? i did that with the r33,, but can't get insurance for a r34 with that insurer ,, the rims are just series II rims,,, i wish they were gtr!! lol,,, only 17" rims,,

colour code is TV2 just cars just quoted me like $2400!!! is that normal???????

YA,,he was a pretty nice guy,,, Cairns was alright,,i might visit it again sometime,, by the time i get it to brisbane, and on the road, it will have cost me between $34000 - $35000 (not including insurance) , which i think is a fair enough price,, for something that is in genuine condition.

Hi everyone,, I am now the proud owner of a 2000 R34, series II, and yup,, its Bayside Blue (I.e GTR blue),, YAY!!!!!!! So hopefully, i'll be seeing the rest of you out and about ,, give us a wave,, i'll wave back!!! heeheh,, i got a great deal,,, only has 15 000k on it!!!! (yes i was a bit suss at first too) But i got it checked out, and seems pretty genuine,,!! the under body of the car is still blueish from the factory,,, ( i.e shows that it hasent been driven much,, and No accident history from what the panel beater told me) Already forgotton about the R33 ( R33,, what r33?) heheeh,, don't mind me, i got that stupid grin my face, that one that each and everyone of u got, when UR car arrived.. !!!!!! Got the car of a guy from cairns, who didnt use it much,, and bought it as his "old man's toy " ( well he wasent that old) ,, anyways,,, its stock standard,,, , didnt even have a turbo timer!! sheeesh,,,, anywho,,, hope to see u all around!! more pics to come BTW,, anyone in QLD insured a R34,,,??? who did u use????????
