  1. its probably not worth the hassle as there are so many here already for sale under $20k with a few mods.

The best bit being you can actually drive and inspect them. I always thought i would import but by the time i go the coin together i realised there were heaps of cars available in Aus with no 3month wait.

    pretigemotorsport.com.au

    J-spec.com.au

    ironchefimports.coms

Are good sites to get an idea

  2. I'm in the process now as well but find it quite hard in social events and anything to do with booze!

so ive had about 6 in the last 6 weeks - not 1 a week:) more two nights on the beers and one bad day at work.

unfirtunately when bored i think of somking and i get bored alot - this thread ain't helping either:)

    cheers rich

  3. Just jap have jjr's for like $400 with warranty lots off people have them and i havent seen any complaints vs 700 for splitfires.

I also saw a while ago Yellow jackets which are apparently good aswell and around $400 too i think. there was a group buy through performance wise too.

but im still on stick r33 s2 coils so i couldnt reccomend any but when my time comes ill probably end up with the ones from just jap unless the exhange rate is real good.

    cheers rich

  4. S1 9k S2 12k

But it depends the market is crap atm and its what ever someone will pay for them.

Someone after a clean s2 with gen kms may pay more to get an original car.. and you could always sell parts of them like the wheels prob 2-2.5k.

i picked up my s2 with low kms great rubber and 10months rego for 11k a few months back - there were cheaper options but not in the same condition and if your fussy thats what it comes down to.

    my 2c. Rich

  5. Congrats on picking up the r33 sydking.

my fisrt mod after getting mine was an alarm and after reading a couple of recent thefts on the forum i would reccomend getting a decent system.

I had Daniel from Platinum Car Security install mine and he was great-took the time to do it right and the best part is he comes to you which was great. i also thought very well priced considering it takes a while to install. So i would definately receommend him.

http://www.platinumcarsecurity.com/ he is also a sponsor on ns http://nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=365532

    cheers rich.

  6. Hey guys while im at it what would you reccomend brand and parts wise, i have a completely stock syetem-the one the car came with from factory.

was thinking head unit, components up front, splits in the back and some sort of syb set up but want to keep a functional boot-if possible.
