Looking at a Jeep Patriot, technically I think they are SUV's,
but they are more a traditional 4x4 shape and style.
most capable 4x4 in its class from what I have read

it feels quick but not fast.
I'm sure this is decieving because of the smooth ride.
It would be a match for most standard 4 door skylines i reckon, but NOT really the same sort of car.
More in that large sedan size (not a sports car with 2 extra doors).
I can;t wait to line it up against some stock calais's

the deal is done and the VW is at home. its a beautiful car to drive.
6 speed auto is amazing. it has one of those wanky sports shift things, but I didn't use it once coming back, just squeeze the acc pedal and go.
My favourite feature so far is the automatice park brake. it engages when ever the car stops and disengaes when you press the accelerator, which is great for driving around the city.
heated leather seats are a close second, they really were usefull leaving Parkes yesterday morning at 4am with an outside temp of 2 degrees C
