hi there , my name is tannie tam from malaysia i got 2 main issues occurred on my car. 1. 5th gear cant engage 2. lsd making very loud noise acutally i am driving a cefiro a31 , then i transplant the r33 rb25det into my car. then everything is fitted into the car nicely. then when i am about to test the car, then i found that i cant engage to 5th gear. i try to engage to 5th gear and i crank the engine(the car is on the 2 post lift) , then the gear lever just pop back. i tried with 3rd and 4th gear , it doesnt pop back . i did check for the clutch pump and all the other stuff , but everything is ok. i really blur now ?? dun know wat to do ?? i planned to drop down the gearbox and check it out wat is happening inside the gears , i hope the 5th gear is ok. coz i really tight of budget now ?? if u guys have any comments , pls help me the 2nd problem is the 2 way lsd that is previously install to my car since i am using the previous engine (rb20det) , now is making noise. last time the lsd s working fine. or is this normal that the lsd will make noise coz i didnt drive the car during the transplant ?? the car is in the workshop for about 1 month ++ . yesterday i do a test drive ( slowly ) and the lsd is not working like before. then today i did drive the car around , making few turns hope to run in the lsd ?? is there any comments from u guys about this problem. hope to get feedback from all the members thankz a lot

hi hi , on my side here me and my partner would like to go for more bhp so that is y v go for rb engines. if possible v like to challenge the engine up to 500 bhp. at the mean time , can u tell us more about sr20det?? i would like to hear more from u, thankz

thankz for all the info. i did alot of the research through the forum. actually , i've ordered the r33 rb25det in japan , now waiting for the arrival. so at the mean time , just wan to know more about this engine and also the updrages. coz i know if this beast wana turn out on the street , it gonna b a blast n will doninate. i will incharge of the engine and the interior side , then my fren will take over the rims and the exterior job. so hoping this beast will shine one fine day. p/s: but if done , can i post the pic here. this is all about skylines, mine is just a old bmw e30 model *peace*

wat do you mean by no money, bro. i just wana get things right. i am seeking for advice not seeking for any trouble.there are a lot of modders out there, some ppl would prefer something is fully modded and transplant into the ride(i think this is ur kind) , some modders prefer to get the things done personally. coz learning from stage to stage will be a challenge. i hope hope to get more info , n the correct stuff for my ride coz maybe ur right. iam not that person that have as much money as you !! i am new to this 6 cylinders engine , but i am not new for the street. i applogise if i say anything wrong or hurt someone feelings, but i am just tryin to learn from all the seniors here *peace*

i dun know where to post , moderator if i posted at the wrong section pls move it. sorry i wan to know more onto the modifications to upgrade on the rb25. here me n my buddy r trying to run a project. this project is to transplant the rb25det into the bmw e30. now i am seeking advice from all the tuners ..... how can i turn this rb25det to have somewhere like 350bhp - 400bhp, with alot of torques ? by changing fuel pump , injectors , intercoolers , turbine , remap ecu ...... wat else i need to do ? which model of injectors ? any nice turbine ? pls advice me thankz in advance

bro, i thought to use back the rb20det and upgrade the engine performance. can u pls advice me wat is suitable parts that can b plug n play from rb25 n rb26 that can fit into my rb20det. i am from malaysia, if i transplant to rb26 the roadtax will cost me a lot ..... that is y malaysia ppl cant really own a very large cc cars. pls advice me ya

hi there , i am new to this forum. i owned a ceffy with rb20det. can i know wat is suitable to fit into rb20det from rb25 or rb26. is there anything from the other engines that can b fitted into my rb20det to improves the torque and the peformance of my ride. pls help me, thankz
