Where can I cop one of these mongoose systems?
Just interested to see if any attempted break-ins were actually foiled by a mongoose alarm?
-
I want the gktech ones now.
-
^ LOL yes we need greener grass down here in the supposed 'garden state'.
But mmm, these rims sit very nicely on the line What width are they?
-
Hey all. I was thinking of getting new car alarm installed, just wanted to see what experiences you guys have had with different car alarm systems. Any particular one that is one notch above the rest? Or is any with a siren and immobiliser enough? Cheers.

Why are they so cheap? Because it will cost you equal or more than the amount you're paying for the product to ship it to Australian shores buddy. I've snapped up little stuff like badges which were like 3000en (about 30 Aussie dollars) and then by the time I receive them I've paid $60 Australian...

^^ You got that meaning?
A skyline is best described as the overall or partial view of a silhouette of a city's tall buildings and structures consisting of many skyscrapers in front ...
- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyline
LOL
Yeah, I didn't want to get owned with the wrong meaning, so I kept quiet
-
yer why
Oh nothing, I was also thinking about getting them, but a bit suss about the wiring etc. Did you end up getting them yet?
-

Coilovers

LOL. This is from NS yeah?
-
LOL! The Japanese have funny sayings, but they are probley just direct translations of what they say in Japanese.
eg. What is "SKYLINE"? could be a metaphor or something... Like the Skies the limit, the car shall be forever going... or something LOL!
What is "SUPRA"? Could just mean its a Super car / Toyota. What is Celica (Silly Car) LOL!
MITSUBISHI = Bits of Sushi... HA! Nah joking, Mitsubishi make good cars.
Skyline is actually a word that means something.
-
Yeah... did it turn out alright, or did it turn out like the ns cruise on Friday...

Silencers are just chatty and give a real nasty note. The varex is convenient in that you can shut it up when you want just by pressing a button. My mate has one on his wrx, with it open it is around 100db and with it closed it sits on 85db. No dramas with his reguarding wet or hot etc. For $400 they're a good buy.
Depends what exhaust you have mate. I find that if you have an insanely loud exhaust and you silence it, it sounds as good as unsilenced. I have a Blitz Nur Spec and when silenced sounds practically the same, except quieter.
-
It looks weird imo. Unless it was a vehicle for the army lol.
-
- 18's will now come with 25mm bolt on spacers, front and rear
- The Enkeis are in bad condition, recommend for track use only (or similar).
-
Why not use a silencer? Easy to bolt in, and on weekends just rip it out
-
Lol. I used to live around the corner.

Stretched looks mad. Go 215s
