  2. 1. if your mechanic has no idea what hicas is i reccomend you find a new mechanic as anyone with any knowledge on skylines shoul know what hicas is. 2. there are many threads on here about hicas problems use the search button also just to add my hicas light was always on untill i did a flush of the power steering fluid..now light never comes on
  3. mine was making the same noise so i changed the diff oil and the whirring sound went away

  5. Spotted a silver 34 4door today round 9 30ish parked in the carpark at fisher performance, opposite scottys motel. I was in the black 32
  6. hey i got a 32 gts4 and my lhicas light never turned off until today when i had my 100,000km service.i got the power steering fluid flushed/bled and got new power steering fluid in it. Now i have no hicas light on yay

  8. lol also forgot to mention a new pump was put on 12,000kms ago so its fairly newish
  9. also the interio its proble easier and cheaper to buy a S2 wouldnt it?? also you need a S2 engine too
  10. cheers for that guys yeah i can to a coolant flush me self and with that dyno tune he said they do an afm clean and throttle body and some other stuff too i'm goin to get new brake pads soonish so i guss i'll do the brake and power steering fluid then cheers any more info would be great
  11. hey guys got a '93 R32 GTS4 and going to be getting my 100,000km service done soon. now i have all my oils and oil filter (diff's oils, engine, gaer box) also im getting my front drive shaft seals replaced as they are worn ( i have already bought these seals from nissan) and my mech will be supplying the timing belt and all that stuff. Now he quoted me 430 for it but i also need new spark plugs and my car does need a lil tune so he said sparks will cost around another hundred and when they put new sparks in they also to a small dyno tune which costs 220 or something but. So all up he said it will be round $800. Does this sound like a reasonable price for what im getting done??? cheers vinnie

  15. cheers for that i took it to my mechanic and he had a look a nd u guessed it the ckutch master cylinder was leaking..$300 later and im on the road again yay lol
  16. cheers for that took it to my mech the other day and found that the clutch master cylinder was leaking so need a brand new clutch master cylinder....$300 later including the tow and im back on the roads yaay
  17. heyy all i own a 1993 R32 GTS4. now i bought it round 3 or 4 months ago and it had a heavy duty clutch in it already however it wasnt some heavy ass clutch just a bit heaver than stock. Now last night i was driving it and it was fine and i wasnt hammering it. But this morning when i went to go to work i put my foot on the clutch and my foot went straight to the floor like when you lose your brakes but with my clutch. I opened the bonnet to check my clutch fluid, this is at 2:30am so its pretty dark, and from what i could see all my fluids were good. I have no idea what the problem is but my only guess is the slave cylinder has pooped it or my actual clutch pedal has broken or something. One thing i did notice tho was when i put my foot down and the pedal went all the way down only at the very last bit did it feel like there was a bit of pressure there. So can anyone help me with this and also how much is this going to cost me?? cheers in advance

  20. IMO i think the 180sx looks better than a s13. i think u can get them non turbs and even better if you can find one with an SR20DE swap
  21. hey buddy when u take out the atessa fuse the 4wd light should come up on your dash..its a yellow colour.. i know mine does in my 32 GTS4 and also in my mates 32 GTR
  22. hey mate sorry should have been more clear yeah dropping the front drive shaft/centre shaft and pulling the fuse is fine its just when u only take out the fuse and leave in the shafts it will fk up
