So does that mean nobody else can enter unlesss they are FINANCIAL Members of your club?
At the moment, all you have to do to be a 'VIC member' is register at the forums. And additionally to enter your car to be eligible to win the Show and Shine, you have to pay $5 to the club.
I say at the moment because we're hoping to have a paid membership option in the future, details are still being spec'd out though.
Thanks for your interest!

Yeah it's not the easiest thing in the world.
Luckily with my car, if you pull the handle on the driver's door while locked it will unlock. So it gave us a bigger target to work with.
-
Frameless windows are relatively easy to pry the window away from the door to get something down there to unlock the door from the inside. At least it looked that way when I had my keys locked in the car. ^_^
-
Get the car unlocked somehow, get to the boot release and win!
Call RACV if you don't wanna break anything. Just be prepared to wait a loooong time.

I'm fairly certain that someone is putting a deposit down on this today. Just FYI.
And he forgot to add in his initial post that the subs/amp is not included.

Having met Rod once and sitting in his car for a drive I can safely say that I don't think he's anything close to a wanker.
It's a very friendly community and is rather active for its size.

PM me with an email address and the image numbers if you want full sized pictures of any.
Edit: Didn't feel like 424 pictures! I got so burnt.

Felt it, nothing major though. Seems to be about the same on Whirlpool from what I've read so far.
Windows shook a little, just like wind except earthquakey.

Macca's carpark
More like drive thru. Have to drift it around those tight corners!
Take it to a track.

Yeah this was posted a few months back.

That really sucks man.
Any idea on when it might have happened, last time you saw the stuff?
-
As I understand it, they only take the points away from you when the payment goes through for the fine. At least in normal situations, yours may be different - I don't know.
Not sure of anything else really.
Other than the fact that if you were +20km/h over you're stuffed.

They would see it as operating a mobile phone, unless it is integrated with your car's stereo system.
I don't think that they would have to try very hard to get you for that one.
Yeah figured as much. I just have to keep listening when a crap song comes on, or change back to FM/CD. Don't want to get my P1s extended so I'll be good.
I think this is the best news i've heard for ages about police etc. Every day I see someone weaving, 1/2 in their lane, almost into oncoming traffic etc.. So far, every time i've managed to get a look at the driver, it's someone holding a phone.Police focusing on this could really lead to an increase in road saftey. If you think you're safe to drive while using / looking at a phone (for calling / sms or music), you're a true wanker and I hope you get done!
Yeah, well said. It's those same people that always 'forget' to take off from traffic lights, stall, take off slowly and change lanes without any indication.
-
Hmm i initially thought the whole point of speaker function on mobiles was to allow people to talk whilst driving but have had a friend who copt a fine for holding the phone while on speaker.
but phone impoundment is hilarious, soon changing songs whilst driving will get the head unit impounded
I think the law is that you are not allowed to touch the phone at all while driving. You need a handsfree thing that can automatically pick up the call with no pressing buttons.
But I wonder what happens if you're using your phone as your music source, say for example an iPhone. Is that allowed?

lol.
I don't know what else to say!

All the alleys look very similar.
Looks like a good spot from what I can see.

No photoshop is part of the deal. What your car looks like + the light is what you will get.
Cleaning the outside of your car should do the trick. You can leave your cheese burger wrappers on the floor.

Would be useful to see some pictures, and even the area it was stolen from.
180s are hot and always catch my eye, I'll be looking regardless of it being stolen.
Hope you get it back in one piece though mate.

@ eMsta - You just took Got One!'s spot mate.
Try again.

Sorry benzino 33 i was refering to anyone who managed to obtain a exemption after the new laws came in.
For those getting their Ps after 2007...
I am pretty sure the only reason you would be allowed to drive a turbo Skyline on your Ps is if it is for work purposes, and that wouldn't include driving to work... As said, a mechanical job, or my friend who is an auto electrician and drives Ferraris, etc.. But I am under the impression that it would be only for client's cars and not your own... but that's not the issue here.
I don't think it's as easy as getting a note from your parents saying you are allowed to drive it, or saying "Please Sir/Madam, May I drive my turbo Skyline because it is awesome and I love it?".
That's why I'm sticking with my stock FWD Impreza until I'm off my Ps. Looong wait, but lets me save.

What cars do you have in mind?

@Ash: Wouldn't it be easier for everyone if you updated the first post with the list rather than them hunting through the thread for your posts? =]
Looks like a pretty decent list so far. Let's hope it keeps growing at this rate.

Spotted RBPOWA on the Westgate inbound - traffic was no fun. Probably didn't pay any attention to me though. ^_^
