  1. sorry, but im actually not talking shit, and im sure if u had any idea urself ud realise that 2pce wheels mean the disk and the barrel are separate pieces, this means the barrel/rim is ONE PIECE, so without a cut and shut job it is impossible to change the width. but i guess if u knew this u probably wouldnt have talked about simmons who actually specialise in 3pce wheels where the barrel is actually 2 pieces.

AFAIK simmons do not cut and shut, they create a rim section just like every other wheel manufacturer does.

FFS, remove barrel from 2 pc wheel and throw it in the bin then bolt on wider barrel onto exhisting centre. thus making them wider.

No cutting and welding required. Not that difficult a concept to grasp :)

  2. Im pretty sure your right, as only the R34 has any mention of boost sensor to ecu.

I thought the map sensor sig does go to the ecu on the r33.

How else does the ecu know when to switch the ground on the boost control soleniod.

    :D

  3. I didn't think that the s1 and s2 were any different above the water pump.

    ps. definately series one engine............

I have a s2 in the shed and it has the oil drain in the block ready to go.

  4. I am going to buy the brightest 10 billion candle power spotlights

and melt the eyeballs of the stupid mofo that followed me for 45min

with their high beams on... :woot:

F#@K me some people need to learn how to use their lights..

    Here let me help.

Low beams are used when closely following another car.

High Beams are used when you are not going to blind other drivers eg. the poor bastard in front of you..

Driving lights are used to illuminate the first meter in front of your car and if your looking this far in front @ 100 Km/h

THEN CUT YOUR LICENSE IN HALF AND CATCH THE BUS

  5. Widening LMGT's??? :P

Yeah and whats wrong with that. :)

    so instead of being F 17X8 and R 17X9 they'll be F 17X9 and R 17X10 :D

Oh and I wan't to powdercoat the centres black :)

  6. Yep. headlights are focused down on low beam to reduce glare to oncoming drivers, wheras foglights aren't, hence the reason why its illegal, and a pet hate of mine. If i had my way no cars in aust would have foglights, if 90% cars can get around without them why do the 10% need to drive around with them on?

    +1

I abobroad minded femaleely hate this as well, Don't have them on unless it is foggy hence the term fog lights.

though the manufacturers call them driving lights I don't see how they improve the light output where you actually need it.

Saw a commodore driving around with just the fogs on tonite, what a retard...

  7. I kno that this is an old post but I hate these backyarder dealers....

yes , you replace things with clapped out old 2nd hand parts that die in a couple of months just after the warranty has run out

    Or as happened to me..

Rather that fix that heater core we'll put 3 tins of bars leaks in the radiator and pray it'll last out the warranty. It did but when it corroded out completely and started to dump coolant around my GF feet I was a much wiser man.

NEVER NEVER TRUST NON FRANCHISE DEALERS TO HONOR ANY SORT OF WARRANTY!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Yes some of the retrofits on that site are truly awesome.

And yes some of the techniques seem dodgey particularly with the cutting of the actual backs of the assemblies.

    Trying to reseal them etc.

Maybe you could make a prototype using the cut & shut and then glued together with bits of icecream container :(

Pour a mould and cast new ones.
