  1. It was a busy roundabout and I didn't see her coming, so I got hit as I entered the roundabout from the RHS! :| I only managed to get one pic before the car got towed away, here it is for what it's worth. Note: Front has had some modifications to accomodate top secret front bar that *used* to be there. Thanks for the advice SAU! It's been really helpful. I've been looking for parts, anyone got a R quarter panel (front) and drivers side headlight to spare?
  2. UPDATE I got the guy to send me an invoice for the repairs, turns out its 6K and possibly $500 off if I pay cash. Does this invoice look right?? GimpS, been offered $750 for the car by the wreckers.
  3. Hi guys, I was recently involved in an accident at a roundabout - car got hit in the front quarter (driver's side) pretty hard - and to cut a long story short, have been quoted $6-7K to get the car running on the road again. The front right wheel took most of the impact, and the resulting force bent some of the suspension structures so the wheel was kinda cambered inwards ~20deg, but I'm not sure what exactly needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, I'm not willing to fork out that much $$ to get the car running, but I'm also not very sure what my options are at this point. Was hoping someone might be able to give me some pointers on how to handle the situation? The car is currently at a panel beater in Bayswater (towed there over the weekend), and I am based in Clayton. I could get a second opinion but it's quite a pain towing the car from shop to shop. I know some people strip their cars and sell them piecemeal, but I don't have storage space for that. Any ideas?? Thanks..

  6. hey guys i just dropped by jaycar today and picked up a 10W 1ohm ceramic resistor for $1.50. placed it in PARALLEL across the circuit, now the thing blinks fine! maybe even a bit too slow! haha. but that can probably be changed by swapping the resistor for a 2 or 3 ohm one.. mine DIDN'T WORK when in series, still got me a little puzzled.. but that may be a wiring issue.. the resistor heats up a fair bit when in use, but we'll see how that goes in the long run.
  7. sorry man, i have no idea how i'm supposed to go about posting stuff like this... it'd cost a lot by the looks of it? i've tried couriers please but they don't do it. need this gone ASAP>>> Price drop.. $150 for the lot.
  8. hey guys i just changed my indicators with my front bar, and the lamp is blinking really strange... i think it has something to do with the resistance across the new circuit? anyone have any experience with this?? I need to increase the resistance across the wires or something to make them blink normally?? the lights are all working so its not a fused bulb.. any help appreciated! thanks.
  9. bumps for bumpers... eddddie i'd prefer to keep them together for now! thanks for the offer though

  11. hey i'm after the radiator fan?? its the black fan in the bonnet that sits right in front of the radiator, near where the bonnet latch is. I'm also after the black plastic piece that goes on the front right wheel well, it sits between the wheel and the body kit, and has little vents in it.. kinda like a front mud guard. how much for postage to 3168 VIC?
