  1. Thanks guys, I know that warranties dont cover everything but only cover somethings, I will read teh small print and all that before fully deciding.. BUT can I just say that I found a insurance that will insure the s2 stagea for 20,000 for just under 900 dollars a year comprehensive so I have also kept that in mind NOw to decide to get a S1 or A S2.. S1 i can have more cash to do more stuff,,, s2 not much cash to play with.. shell
  2. Mr_Rs4 Thanks again, we were quite sure if it was or not and that. thanks Goldzilla, you are right there warrantys aren't worth anything at all these days I agree with you there. Thanks shell

Thanks Pixel8r you guys have been so great I am looking at series ones now due to I can seriously do some playing with.. Question for you, do the stagea's 2.5 litre turbo's have a ceramic turbine or is it steel or other ?
  5. Thanks stagegirl :sorcerer: MR_RS4: Josh sounds like its a long story about your stagea what happened if you dont mind me asking. Thanks ive always had rating one, no claims no accidents etc etc. Thanks for the insurance info thats been a great help and a instant relief.. The information you have given me is wonderful My partner rang me earlier and said go have a look at the price for the series one and I did so I might end up getting a series one and spending some serious cash to boot.. Thanks mate.. We want to put a very good stereo system that plays dvds that we can put the dvd screens in the seat for the child/ren to watch.. theres other things we wanna do too.. your ideas are great.. I wish I was buying the stagea now.. I have to wait though and be patient... but I wish it would hurry up LOL Ill be away for the weekend leaving my son Josh with his dad but Im sure my partner mike will be reading and posting.. have a good weekend you know he happy that you all agree wiht him heheh. :laughing-smiley-014: thanks shell
  6. Stagpower Im in brisbane, I wont be able to buy a stagea for a couple of months.. and I was hoping to get one close to where Im situated SHell
  7. Man you guys are such legends :sorcerer: you know, I was about to go bye byes to the stagea (and I didnt really want to) due to the cost of insurance but thank god I know now that I can shop around and get insurance for under 1000.. id be happy with that.. This car is a compromise, partner wanted a 4x4 drive and as soon as I saw the stageas I knew that is what I wanted.. JVP I know i thought because I was older and I know how hard it was to get insurance at your age, mind you that quote was for justcars.. Webng, that is the reason why I like the stagea series 2 as it has better motor and running gear, and all that.. gooduck wiht your buying let me know how you go and all that :sorcerer: I have a look at the vigilins site.. thanks guys.. shell
  8. JVP $926 a year omg, Ive done quotes and all in preparation of getting a stagea in the next couple of months, every where ive seen its 1500 plus for me whos almost 29 .. which I dont wanna pay. but 926 I can do that. Ill be 29 this ye Stagpower Im in brisbane. thanks anyways.. Leetom, yes I went to gold coast (burleigh heads) to see those cars hehe lovely salesmen there too as well as nice good knicked cars but I havent wheeled and dealed yet and im sure I can get a few grand taken off them or something like that.. Warranty for me would be a bonus too.. See I going to be paying cash and Ill own it and not finance something Ive never odne in a long time.. so I wanna make sure its the right thing to do my limit would be 18000 but again I really like the series two hehe.. decisions decisions and IM female so that just makes it even harder ahahhaha thanks guys shell
  9. Thank you guys, maybe the series one is the way to go just by what Im reading here. and I would like to spend a bit less than 18000 more i can add to the car.. MR RS4 thanks your a gem that is one thing I really has helped :sorcerer: JVP thank you I think you have opened my eyes up thanks now if I can find a decent lovely one for that price Id be happy.. :sorcerer: .. Ashlogan, having kids can be messy in my case I have the one 7 year old who actuallyis quite clean & tidy kid .. the only thing that has worried me is the cost of the insurance I got quoted 1600 for full comprehensive for a 99 stagea if i went out and brought a series 2 stagea? the insurance has put me off for that stagea.. It would make the insurance cheaper if the car was at a lower price? Guys seriously have been a great help and I think i better start looking at the series one seems the dollars would be better spent :sorcerer: .. I went looking for the 97 models OMG talk about price lash in private sellers its really making me lean to that the money I have in my pocket the better thanks guys shell
  10. newbie101 I was thinking the same thing about the kms, I actually cant drive a Manual but Im actually after an Auto, But I like the ones with the tipomatic in them.. My hubby likes the earlier models I think the 97 model infact as it doesnt have the lights in the grille I would like to buy a stock standard wagon wiht no mods . the only thing I would like to do to it it lower it alittle and put an alarm system on it and a exhaust system.. and a stereo system.. Mr_RS4 we went and saw a 97 stagea i think it had close to 53000 kma on it for 16,000 again from a dealership.. the cars I mentioned were clean as all hell inside and out.. i was taken back abit by the kms as well.. Thank you for your help Its been a great help Thank you wolverine, AlexCim, GoldZilla and stasis for your help You guys have been such a great help really have I like the stageas really do, I know that they are a strong car, actually the car has everything I want in a car. A question is the stagea affordably to fix adn that? Of to go read the Buyer's Guide for the Stagea, and also through the Buyer's Guide for the Skylines thank you guys for a very helpful advice and tips your the greatest shell
  11. Hello there , Im new to this skyline forumn and I was wondering if you all can help me with the questions that I have and see if you can help me We are looking into buying a Nissan Steagea Wagon, the three cars below are the ones we are looking at.. It looks great, we are after a family car but with performance and we been looking for a bit, we finally think we have found that car we are after, which Is what has led me here to this site.. I know they look lovely, they are nice to drive , had a test drive of one this morning.. I know that they are a solid car.. Nissan steagea wagon, auto. tripmatic2001 NISSAN STAGEA RS4 AWD that has 34,000kms for $21990, 6 cylinder Petrol Intercooled Turbo 2.5 NEOL (2498cc OR 2000 NISSAN STAGEA RS4- 4wd 37,000kms, for 21,990,6 cylinder Petrol Intercooled Turbo 2.5 NEOL (2498cc) Or a 1999 NISSAN STAGEA RS4 for $18,990 , 36,000 kms on it,6 cylinder Petrol Intercooled Turbo 2.5L (2498cc) , and its 4WD Okay those are three cars we are looking at, we will get one of them or something similar in the next few months, we are looking at it as a family car, very lovely car we drove one today and we are happy with the performance the smooth drive etc not to mention the space it has.. .. and we are in Queensland and we are very much inlove with the car. So my question to you is that right amount of money for those cars?? what else can you tell me about them? Which is better to get the AWD or the 4WD? and is it true that the facelift 98+ is better to get, and also what insurance companies will help you insure these lovely cars? Thank you in advance :sorcerer: Shell
