  4. the car is booked in to get cam gears and surge system so i can actually run more boost. XKLABA did u happen to get what the std cam's are meant to be dialed in at yet? and as for lag , i don't get full boost till about 5000 too 5500rpm so yer it is fairly lagy
  5. ok been to eastern creek 2 times now with my gtr , 316rwkw @ 16psi from a to4z (stock head so very lagy) this is my times so far all on falken 235 / 40 /18 12.512 @ 112.77 mph with a 1.789 60 footer and 12.394 @ 112.84 mph with a 1.842 60 footer and last time i went down my best time was 12.302 @ 114.47 mph with a 1.849 60 footer ok my question is can i get faster with my current setup?(with out going to other tyres) thanks heaps

  7. its a .8 housing . and why i was asking about cams is my mate just took a set out of his gtr and don't really want too waste money on this motor as i am building another one, so this one will be taken out of car and sold soonish. E85 will not bring it on any faster will it? thanks
  8. nope no head work , i am building another motor atm , and the to4z come on this motor so i not gonna bother downgrading. will cams bring it on much earlier?
  9. i been looking around , and cant find much info . i have access to some TOMEI PROCAM 252 degrees duration, 9.15mm lift. ok from my understanding i will get boost a lil earlier , BUT move my power band up more? how much earlier ? and how much is my power band going to move? my 26 has got forgied pistons but std rods and crank , and no crank collar with a n1 oil pump , so i not a big fan of reving the shit out of it . of crouse has a pfc , injectors , etc so what i am asking is it worth putting the cams in? i usually only rev to about 7,500. the cars used for street + drag. thanks for any info

  14. i have a to4z and i think i get full boost just before 5000 , that's on a 2.6L with fogies and complety stock head. personally i wouldn't be putting a to4z on any thing with out some serious head work and preferably stroked a bit. i.e i maxed out my 023 bosch fuel pump on 16psi lol , that's not even in the turbos affections
  15. u do know i am paying some one to install the parts i am just getting my own parts? like i said it is a good idea but if u could mod the tank to have more baffels of some sort for around the same money i think it would be a lot more interest in it. and i'm not trying too argue with you , but guys wanted opinions .
  16. not trying to have ago at you or your work or your workshop or product , BUT did u see the list i wrote? for under 1300 bucks i am i getin my surge system in the car and a re tune . so personally i would find it pretty hard to shell out 1300 for this. and if u do not believe me i will put all receipts up when all work is done, then u can eat your hat or mine . this product will sell too some tho , i just think its going to miss a lot of people with the price and the lack of surge protection. and you can say that a lot of cars don't need it, But would u build a rb26 and use a N1 oil pump because you can save your self a few dollars ? , same thing here if some one is going to the trouble of making big power they like insurance and that's why people have no worries paying 1500 bucks for a oil pump. thanks

  18. i am a week or so from doing a surge system , and in my opinion ( that's right mine) its too costly for what it is , i rekon with a few hours i could knock that up and add 2 bosch 040's and away u go. and just for example . surge tank with mounting brackets for 2 bosch 044's : $180 au devilered (at this price hardly worth making my own) 2 bosch 044's 200 bucks each few ods and ends + this actually stops surge issues , i cant see how that system will so well under 800 bucks u have a fuel system thats rated to well over 1000+ hp not taking credit away it is a good idea, but i just don't think it would a big seller
  19. do not buy isc ones , i had a set on my rb20 nothing but problems with them slipping , and yes i did change the bolts

  21. i have cp's i wouldn't be putting them in another motor... my mate has cp's as well , and another guy a in a sr20. they breath way too much , their ok for the money but i wouldn't be doing any big builds with them.

  23. hey just wondering if thier is any one want to come for a cruise? this sunday coming up 19th , me and parsons will be meeting up at hexam McDonald's and doing a old Pacific high way cruise. manly gonna be jap shit but i don't honestly care what you come in. msg me or leave comments so i have a idea on who or how many ppl are keen thanks
