  1. Hi All, Can someone please tell me the brand of this crossover? Thanks in advance.
  2. Feel free. The photos will help me work out if and how I could build some dedicated ducts for me brakes.
  3. Thanks. Thanks. Nice set up, certainly not standard. It would be interesting to see it, especially how the section is attached to the actual caliper.
  4. Where did you get the carbon oil cooler ducts from? Is the fit OK, as it looks like a few gaps, but might be just the photo?
  5. Yes, interior is black, they are crap photos taken in bad light. I will get some better ones tomorrow.
  6. I am the 3rd owner of this car in Australia, from what I understand it has been in the country for at least 3 years now I am unsure of the grade it was when first imported, or even whether it was standard or modified. Would be interesting to know though. Yes, the front pipes are rare as hens teeth, love them!! The brake ducts are integrated into the front lip (above the diffuser), there is an inlet on each side of the lip. There is not any pipe work directing air to them actual calipers though, but that would be a nice addition - Super GT style set up. Here is how the air is directed... I found this, which is a factory option (unsure if it was for the 32, 33 or 34) but it may be a good, easy modification to do in order to feed the calipers some more fresh air.
  7. Here are a few randoms I took when the car was up on stands. I removed the front bar to get a good look at it and check everything was OK prior to road worthy and registration. NISMO OIL COOLER DUCTING NISMO OIL COOLER DUCTING / GREDDY OIL COOLER TRUST FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER POWER HOUSE AMUSE Ti FRONT PIPES FRONT: ENDLESS 6 POT CALIPERS / MOONFACE SUPER LAP ROLL CENTER ADAPTERS / TEIN MONOFLEX / IKEYA FORMULA UPPER ARMS REAR: ENDLESS 4 POT CALIPERS / NISMO BRACE KIT / IKEYA FORMULA UPPER REAR ARM / NISMO UPPER FRONT ARM / NISMO LOWER ARM
  8. Thanks for the kind words. Here are a few pictures of the interior. They are not very good photos, I need to get some of it since getting a good clean.
  9. One thing that has been frustrating me since getting the car is the fumes from the Oil Catch Can, they are really quiet bad. Apparently RB26's with Cams gets a bit this way when the Catch Can vents to atmosphere. So I wanted to set it up to re-circulate, but after looking at the outlet where the air filter is I found a problem... The outlet is 40mm The re-circulate inlet on the Greddy intake piping is 16mm ...so I was going to get the 40mm outlet welded up and a new, smaller outlet fitted, but I am short on money and time, so worked out a way around it. The parts I bought to do this are... 38mm Radiator hose with a 90 degree bend in it Copper reducer 38mm to 16mm 4 hose clamps 2 meters of 16mm heater hose What I did was cut a 90 degree bend from the radiator hose then, using the hose clamps, connected the reducer. I then connected the 16mm heater hose to the small end of the reducer, Then I fitted it all up and bingo, no more smell, it is great!! Here are some photos... AIR FILTER REMOVED SHOWING THE 40mm OUTLET ALL THE PARTS TOGETHER FOR INSTALL ALL INSTALLED
  10. OK, so the very first change for the car has been replacing the Tomei Ti exhaust. It is just far to loud for the street and I also prefer the look of a normal oval muffler that exists straight out. I ordered in a HKS Super Turbo catr back from RHD Japan as it has the same size pipe work as the Tomei Ti but larger mufflers, so in theory, I should getter better noise suppression with the same flow levels. I still have to get the car back to Racepace for a few power runs on the dyno as this will tell the true story as to whether the flow, and power levels, remain unchanged with the new exhaust. So the car went up on stands in the backyard and the swap over was done. You have to love the true bolt on fitment of Japanese gear, makes these backyard jobs much easier. Here are some photos from the swap over...
  11. Looks great, well done. The SP1 are such a good looking wheel. Where did you get the replacement headlights and how much? Mine are looking quiet old and foggy and I would love to update like you have done.
  12. Hi Guys, My set up is as follows... Stock 2.6 bottom end HKS 2530's Nismo Dump Pipes Power House Amuse Ti Down Pipes (3.5" outlet) High Flow 3.5" in 3" out Metal Cat WAS: Tomei Expreme Ti Cat Back NOW: HKS Super Turbo Cat Back A few notes... - Both systems have an 80mm entry which then steps up to 85mm within the first inch - Both systems then run 85mm pipe work the rest of the way - Both systems run a 2 muffler design, however the Tomei mufflers are MUCH smaller With the Tomei the car made... 391.9rwkw @ 22psi 349.6rwkw @ 19psi It is going to be very interesting to see what power it makes with the HKS Super Turbo system on the car. I am just waiting for Racepace to have some free time for me to head down there and get the car back on the dyno for a few power runs. As soon as I have done this I will report back.
  13. Haha... No But a quick blocky, maybe
  14. OK, I do not want to argue on the internet as it always ends badly. I respect that everyone has an opinion and would have thought mine would have been accepted as much as the next person - not seen as "childish" and "extremely disrespectful" - but hey, that's the internet As a result, I formally withdraw all my comments and would like to apologise directly to the members of SAU Vic that I have offended, in anyway. I am disappointed you see my comments as childish, but I will respect your opinion and will not argue against it - we all have a right to free speech. So, just to be clear... I am sorry if I have offended any of the competitors and respect each and every one of you and did not mean to be "a childish act" My comments about it being a shame if an intruder won was not meant to be "extremely disrespectful" and if it has been taken this way I am sorry and I did NOT mean to be "extremely disrespectful" Sorry if my comments were taken as "CLEARLY negative towards the others" Again - I formally withdraw all my comments and would like to apologise directly to the members of SAU Vic that I have offended, in anyway.
  15. Hang on a minute. At no point have I hated on other club members and at no point have I stated that my car should win, as I would not be that arrogant or pig headed. All I have done is stated that it is bullshit (maybe to harsh a word) that a photo on Facebook can go from 100 to 500 likes in less than 12 hours and then from 500 to 1000+ in less than another 12 hours - THAT IS ALL. I then followed up to say that at least the prize is going to a Skyline and even added a smiley face to ensure that it was clear I am happy for the owner of the 32 GTR, My vent was purely to do with the Facebook "likes" situation...........that is all. Harsh mate, harsh - and you say I am the one hating So, just to make it clear, as I do not want to become the one who is "hated".... I respect and love what the club did in arranging the show - was a great day and I am really happy to have somewhere to share my passion with others I respect the fact the major prize is as a result of a valued sponsor - Mitch @ Immaculate Reflections - Thanks I have in no way been childish or hate on other members I definitely do NOT think that, as per your comments, "Just because you have a Bayside Blue 34GTR (which is very nice) and you believe it IS the best car there" my car is the best their I will keep to myself moving forward as I have clearly either been taken out of context or have not communicated very well and misled people in relation to what I was saying.
  16. I guess the only good to come of it is that the prize is going to a Skyline and not an intruder
  17. It now has 1,000 likes!! Last night at 9pm it only had 500. This is bullshit!! If the the main prize and award for overall best car in showy, is decided in this way it is wrong - plain and simple.
  18. When does the competition close? Looks like 2 of the 3 winners won't be Skylines. How on earth some of the cars got 500+ likes is astonishing Lots of Facebook pimping R32 GTR = 653 BMW M3 = 517 SUPRA = 127 WHITE R34 GTR = 59 BLUE R34 GTR = 50 R35 GTR = 35 BLUE R34 GTR = 30 GREY R34 GTR = 25 SILVER R33 GTR = 23 YELLOW R34 GTR = 11
  19. The only difference from then to now is the wheels and Z-Tune front end. I do like the SSR SP1 but they needed to run spacers to clear the brakes, which I am not a big fan of doing. But the Z-Tune front end is nice and certainly makes it look very aggressive. I may do a Z-Tune front end one day, but just can't afford out right now.
  20. I think I will leave mine blocked off for now and just focus on getting the vent to atmosphere replaced with a recirculating set up. I have been looking at pictures of RB26's on Google all day and the bulk of upgraded ones all have the PCV blocked off. I am going to make an assumption that based on the amount of modified RB's I am seeing with it blocked, it should be OK.
  21. I was thinking that. In theory, this should work just the same?
  22. Hahaha, LOL....you aint seen nothing yet, check this shit out... So, I think I have TWO options now. OPTION 1: Run PCV to catch can Will require a new fitting welded on the catch can OPTION 2: Run PCV to cam cover Will require a new fitting on the cam cover I think I prefer option 2, and as long as the overall consensus is that it will work and is right, I will go in that direction.' From what I understand, they are both correct and, as you mentioned, the PCV will still equalise pressure, even if done via the catch can.
