haha nothing too fancy mate, going for a bit of a industrial look. I'm actually making up something very simular to Brad sheriff's, and Peter Nunns. except i'm going to run 4 adjustable turnbuckle braces from the front coming down. I'll post up pics when I'm done
build mine as im lazy and dont have time? ill pay you with a bucket load of... sarcasm and ridicule
-
On the note of passengers can anyone jump in? or do they need to pay/sign up? have a mate who wants to come with me and come for a lap but cant afford to pay anything, ive had a bit of a disaster with my nistune and couldnt install it so looks like im sticking to 13-15PSI
Did a bit of aggressive cornering and braking with my semi's and they seem to stick pretty good, bodyroll is a bit of a let down but
I'm pumped for my first track day!
passengers just sign a waiver saying that if the driver f**ks up and you get hurt, too bad lol.. no cost for it either.
-
my old semi's still grip better than street tyres lol, and almost down to no tred
-
Haha, I'm counting on this rear wing for some epic downforce! or... maybe... perhaps that's unlikely?
Hopefully these new sways give me some more stability through the corners, and may actually play with the boost controller to coax out a couple more killerwasps from the engine on the day. I have a strange feeling 90% of the gains will be from the driver though, might chase you around a bit on the day and see if I can learn some more mad skillz.
ill jump in your passenger seat if ya want man, give you the tips i know for the track

OK, Here is the deal
READ THIS!
Stickers are $6 for a pair.
Postage is $1
PM ME for your order.
All orders in this thread will be ignored, I just needed them for EOI to see how many I needed.
I'm not making any money off this, actually quite the opposite, so please don't ask for a discount.
There are only 30 pairs available, so please don't order stickers you're not going to use, and please be quick to avoid disappointment.
Stickers will be available after Friday, you may pick them up from me over the weekend.
I will also bring them to the track day on the 12th.
ill come out sun and grab some off ya, will PM amount

doubt my car will be out there this time, but ill prob bring my helmet along and jump in someones seat or something

Haha, the R33 has had a pretty hard shunt in the front end, better off parting it out!
but maybe i can hang out with my baby skyline?
its a onevia but has a 26/30, so its half way there
when is the track day? maybe Funz will let me take his out
you put that 33 diff in my car and i might let you drive it, if you pay for fuel.. and both our entries mwuahahahaha
your 26/30 should be in my car.. swapsies of engines? fair deal i say
-
im hoping my diff is swapped by then.. and rego paid haha!

i got that HD go pro too, good quality camera, had misplaced the case and mounts for it when i lent it to a mate last few track days though haha but have it all back now. got external mounts and rollcage mounts. i usually record it in 720p @ 60frames, best quality/ smoothness setting around for that cam.
Have uploaded several vids to youtube with some recordings of it.

pretty sure my screamer was like 90 from Hamish at revo
-
ill take 4
-
i will take some but can you do a larger one for the back window?
i like the Small SAU one, and the newer designed one too (maybe even print the new one with the url at the bottom?)
not sure if i missed reading it, but what sizes do they come in?
-
Well actually , a factory gtr bar fits better than the fibreglass gtr-gtst copies that i've played with , the only issue i've ever had with factory gtr bars is that they stick about 1cm into the wheel arch which can be fixed with a little plastic welding . i've fitted 2 copies and both of them stuck under the headlights at each side from being too narrow , which is a c**t to fix properly
That 32 4d looks tuff , makes me want another one!
agreed. i got a gtr copy bar and its 30mm out and didnt even fit over reo bar.. was so annoyed and couldnt be f'd glassing it to fit so sold it
i contemplated 34 front but thats not quite targa spec lol... personally, my old kit, Do luck kit is the best 32 kit ive ever seen.
-
Looks like there will be some subies coming to play with us too
ooh.. tempting...hope my car is ready by then lol
-
thats right a 58.1 or 2 i think.
the best part of the car how close to standard it is. and its the best example of the KISS motto (keep it simple stupid)
ive heard there is a few mods been done to get a tenth or 2 out of it yet.
i hear he's the go to guy for suspension work! id get his advice if my suspension had more adjustability
-
Nunn mentioned his PB to date at basky was a low 58 on new semi's
-
Pete nun will be there maybe dipping into the 57s in his budget built 32 still retaining a stock un opened rb20. i know this because its my old motor.
ill be down for a look
Nunns car is mental! top bloke to boot! had a few good chats to him!

Turn boost down until u make a metal intake pipe, the pipe on that car was soft as last time I saw it
yeah have heard of this happening, what some people have done is put cut pipe in half and put a metal insert with 2 hoseclamps keeping it together
-
atm mines about 7psi at 3krpm, 14psi around 5krpm and goes to 20psi at 7krpm, nice progressive boost which is what i like for hillclimbs, dont loose traction under power
-
GL with sale, have one of these on my rb20, yes on street a little laggy, but during events/track days as tacho is generally always over 3500rpm you dont really notice it. Good upgrade for an rb20!
-
Thanks for the other options guys
Haven't heard anything on JJR and super spark but with the minimal feedback I have heard on Yellow Jackets it has been positive.
most of those things are like buying NIKE and NOKE.. same shit, just someone couldnt spell come print time lol i still lol'd when i heard about Carret turbos lol
-
JJR have them pretty cheap from memory (splitfire equivs, run them in my car and they go well)
as for cheaper than that, no idea..
update for me: cars been blowing the 30amp fuse which controls alt/dash/windows and half the car, been progressively getting worse so have put it in the shop to get fixed up with some other things. gotta figure out why my car overheated to last track day
