  2. Having a few issues with the auto box in the r33, replaced the box but still same problem. thinking it might be the TCU (transmission control unit) or the ECU. anyone got these items? would like to test them before I buy. cheers,

  4. i have a r33 s1.5 with rb25det s2 motor, have installed nistune using z32 ecu and it has a front facing plenum so its running a s1 tps. There is no tps voltage displayed on the consult software in nistune, have also tried using conzult software and no tps voltage displayed. have tested tps wiring and it has 5v output so it seems to be working, have tried a second tps and same thing no voltage. also moved tps around and even disconnected and no change in idle. by the way the idle is fine, just running really rich. Just wondering what the problem is? any one know?
  5. Is there any set K value I can use, or does it have to be specific to my setup? I just wanna get the car to the dyno for a full tune.
  6. why would that be? if the stock tune is loaded to nistune, it would run just like it would with the stock ecu plugged in. is the K constant to do with the injectors, as in if injectors arent set up correctly, car wont run at all (not even rich or lean)
  7. Thing is I bought the nistune 2nd hand, it already had a tune and running on a r33 with more or less similar mods (different turbo and injectors), was having this problem, so I had the base tune loaded and adjusted for 555 injectors, still same issue.
  8. Yeh its throwing up afm code, but im guessing thats cause its not plugged in? All the bolts on the plenum are tight, even put gasket silicon on plenum.
  9. Have just put the engine back into the car, it starts then instantly dies, when I unplug the afm, it starts and runs, soon as i plug the afm back in, it idles high for about 3 secs then dies. Its a r33 with s2 engine. Have just installed the following: -Gt35 turbo -front facing plenum -z32 afm -555cc nismo injectors -nistune (stock tune with z32 and 555cc injector changes) -fmic -040 pump -timing belt, water pump, spark plugs (7 heat, 0.8mm gap) Not sure what the problem could be, any ideas? What can I check? Thinking it could be a vac leak, may something to do with aac valve, dont know.
  10. yeh starts and dies, have followed the correct wiring, orage = signal, white/black = 12v, white/blue = ground, have joined white/blue and another black ground together. Are the grounds ment to go together or seperate?
  11. Now im having another issue. car starts fine with z32 afm unplugged, then when I plug it in it doesnt start, it has a nistune that's been tuned for a z32 afm.

  13. Ive just put the engine back into the car and hooked everything up, installed a 040 pump. Car wont start, the pump primes but theres no fuel going into the hoses, i disconnected all hoses from the pump and they are dry, no fuel. Thought it might be the pump so i put the stock one back in and same thing. What could be causing it? Have just installed: Nistune 555 injectors 040 pump Z32 afm Could the ecu or afm be causing it? Car is a r33 with s2 engine and has half a tank of fuel, pump is submerged so should be picking up fuel
  14. From what I understand only 95 R33's are S1.5, anything 96 onwards is a series 2. The S1.5 had a series 2 engine. Im about to put a z32 nistune on my S1.5, hope I dont have this issue.
  15. Is the R33 s2 4 door front the same as a 2 door? are headlights and bonnet the same? I have a R33 s1, would this fit a s1?
