recently I bought a mybook world edition "white light" as my PS3 was getting full too. This thing is great, you just plug it in to your router and the PS3 detects it straight away and all you do is move your movies into the right file on the my book and then you can view them through the PS3 using the movie options from the main menu! 1TB was only about $180 so it was pretty good value.
Or you can just download a program called PS3 Media Server and your PS3 can read everything off your PC.

yep ordered the $129 edition today as well, was told Nov 1 delivery, from EB Games
Too bad you won't be getting it till Nov 4

Bigslick where did you get those models from?
Mine are all Autoart Millenium 1/18. Biante online has most of them but I got mine from my local hobbies/games/models shop.
-
Can you name a better way of having people take up Sony's "new" technology?
But why would you use a "waving-a-magic-wand" controller for a car racing game anyway?
Maybe for Mario Kart, but GT?
And no game shop can tell you the release date yet because they don't know.
If they do give you a date at this stage then they're full of crap.

I've recently completed my small collection made up of 1:18 diecast AutoArt models.
R34 Z-Tune
R33 GT-R (series 3)
R32 GT-R V-spec II
The R33 I thought I'd never find in 1:18, there wasn't any around until recently.
It really completed my set as it was the same as my old R33, even though mine was a series one.

This thread will never die Birds. It'll haunt you for the rest of your life. Mwuah ha ha ha!

Normally formula would be:
100% HP rating from first turbo + 70% HP rating from 2nd turbo = Over all HP rating as twin.
So 450HP + 315HP = 765HP engine or about 450KWAW
So far this is the funniest post in this thread.

Huge congrats for the time, that's awesome.
Some how though, I just couldn't live knowing that my R32 GT-R weighs 1690kg!
Maybe it's just a mental thing

Also the standard gauge is in hhmg not kpa or psi as someone suggested.
Almost. The standard gauge is mmhg or millimetres of mercury. 7 on the gauge (which is 700) equals 13.5 psi

Previous link doesn't work now.
Here's the latest trailer

Don't run the standard turbos at 20psi. They are the same as the R34's which have ceramic wheels.
http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...eel+wheel+turbo
the ceramic turbine wheels are fairly well known to die if pushed beyond 15psiCorrect
Some may last a while at that level but that won't be the norm.

Considering we are all READING (or trying to in some cases) a forum, shouldn't correct spelling and grammar be used?
I know it makes reading a hell of a lot easier and really, it is not that f**king difficult!
No, no, wait. I love the sig

I had the same problem in my R33 GT-R. It wouldn't just happen when it was hot, but all the time. There was also a crunch going from 3rd to 4th at higher revs. I sort of got used to it and all I would do is have my foot on the clutch for about 2 seconds before I put it in first; then it wouldn't crunch. Not sure if it's definitely related to the 3rd to 4th issue but I was considering putting in some Redline lightweight shockproof gear oil (smurf blood). It's not really recommended for these gearboxes, however many have used it in R33 'boxes that are showing signs of wear and they swear by it, saying it made a huge difference (all of these accounts are what I have read on this forum). If this is the problem (simply wearing synchros out as these boxes do) then that may help. It won't be a long term fix though.

Or shaking a tin can with half a dozen nails in it

I too like to think of the R35 as being the faster car, whether that is true 100% of the time or not.
However, I am a car lover first and foremost and, like many others reading this topic, am very appreciative of MGS showing us his choice over an R35 and the ensuing modifications. I may be looking at a Skylines forum, but I don't mind a peek at a Porsche.
MGS does not need to justify to, or receive validation from, anyone regarding his choice of car or how he chooses to use it.
MGS, thank you.

I'd stay away from any Auton Martins. Sounds like a rip off of an Aston Martin. Just sayin like...
Quite simply... LOL
The aston db9 at damelian isn't a rip off? how does it sound dodge lol? I'm just curious as to why you guys should say that? -
50 PAGES! Yaaaaay!!
RX-7 FD is my fav low weight car!I guess he's gotta get his post count up somehow

All the best Jam; dont sell your Rs's.
I wish you all the best with your setup too, Jamtime, but your step 0 kit is going to be significantly outpowered by the GT-RS's.
Even the crank in the step 1 wouldn't be able to use them to their potential.
Personally I think -5's make a great street turbo, with a 2.8 stroker even better, but not that one.
-
god that guy is a minger . who drove for the lap times ? can he drive better or was he driving like that to show up the traits he was talking about in each car ??
Tiff Needell. Raced in a Formula 1 race and Le Mans a few times, British Touring cars and more.
-
Wrong thread guys. There is a thread for GT Academy times.
-
but how many of them have 700hp? 1, maybe 2?
F40 LM - 760hp
Enzo - 660hp
599 GTB - 611hp
then the rest are around 550 or less.
-
Nevermind, my bad.
He was talking about bhp/ton.
-
What did he say?!
About the horsepower of the cars, in regards to the R33 GT-R...
"...the Nissan Skyline, which in standard trim has only 182"
????? WTF
