had a look through posts since feb 13 and couldn't see anything stating specific details such as these.

If anything it will be worse, because now it will be sucking in hot underbonnet air.
You may notice a slight improvement if you fit a performance filter, but not always.

I feel your pain having a car off the road for so long.
Nice setup tho
Using 1.15bar I would guess it came up just shy of 300... 295rwkw.

Astroboy- although I cant' say I miss it... cos I've got the original 10 disc set.
Pringles Cheez-ums! They were the best!!

Yep, just went down to the local auto shop and they are selling those for a whopping $172 per US Galon. Wow, so expensive. Anyone know where I can find it cheaper in SA? or any online dealer?
Try this one
Or some Sprints may be able to get it.

I do know someone who had an R33 GTST with 210rwkw and ran a best of 12.0 with just a little wheelspin. Then, on what turned out to be his last run of the night, he hooked up really well off the line only to break a non-genuine uni joint!
Hmmmm... I think I might have been a bit off the mark. Maybe it was a 13 flat on his best run.
That sounds right. It was a while ago!

Is it GTST? If it's the same as the GTR there's a little panel next to the handbrake which you should be able to pop out and see an adjusting screw/bolt in there. If you can't get to it through there you'll have to take the centre console off. Just make sure that when you've adjusted it you jack up the back and check that the rear wheels still turn easily.
-
Did anyone else find it a bit weird them saying you only need 230rwkw out of a GTST to do an 11 second pass? Has anyone ran a 11 second pass with only 230rwkw?

Where To Buy Motul 4100 10w 40?
Ans: Don't Buy Motul 4100 10w 40
It's only a semi-synthetic

thats some nice work man, unfortunately all my spare cash is going to be going on investing now but ill deff have to whip up something like that in the future.
that lil chair in yours looks like it could get uncomfortable after a while though but nice all the same
It didn't actually cost that much to put together. The timber I found on a building site, small pieces of mdf was what I had left over from building my poker table (that's another story) and the chair was only about 30 bucks from Ikea. Just took a hacksaw to the legs
And it's surprisingly comfortable. Been doing some enduros lately and no complaints.

stretched tyres = look like a knob

I agree. It seems every single older person was a little angel when they were little right ?
Having said that not all older people are like this, works both ways .
That's right. It's easy to stereotype. My implication that all older drivers crash because of being disorientated is just as silly as the claims that all young import drivers are reckless.
-
in my opinion this is a prim example that should show people, eg government people, that South Australia is in dire need of a safe off street drag strip. This opinion was quickly shot down by every person there i was talking to. There take on it was if we had a drag strip here it would encourage people to do it on the roads more often.
That's rubbish. Exactly the opposite has been proven.
Can't remember exactly where or when I saw it but I remember the police saying it had a positive effect and drivers at the track said that they would feel less inclined to race on the streets.
This narrow-minded group of certain ones of "the older generations" needs to show some respect and stop stereotyping every young import driver as a hoon. Just remind them that in 20 years they'll all be crashing into peoples front yards because of being disorientated and hitting the accelerator instead of the brake.

Those rims are atrocious.
A GT-R should not be pimped... it's sacrilege.

Originally "Rice" would have reffered to all jap cars, but i think it has evolved to refer specifically to what is shown on anti-rice.com.
What they need is one of these.

I don't think so dude 6th gear 65kph and just over 2000 RPM? It doesn't ad up .....
True. That would put the geared top speed at about 210kph.
Not that I doubt the truthfulness of your experience Adam.

Need to do the clutch in my R33 gtr soon.
Anyone had any experience with this Xtreme clutch?
It's 1260kg clamp load (approx 50% over standard), and a dampened hub with cushioned ceramic facings.
At the moment I might be making around 230kw atw, but need it to handle 330kw atw.
Ballpark price i've seen at the moment is around $1100 for the kit.

Thought I'd add these two videos seeing as this is what inspired me to build mine.
The guy says he modelled it off an S2000 dash.
Pretty cool

Nice one, Michelle!
Now, take out that Holden V6 and drop in a VQ35 with open exhausts!
What was that? Rules for your racing class? What rules? Just tell them it's the new V6 from the VE series...
Hmmm... I'm sure a VR38TT would fit
......"What do you mean official? There's nothing wrong here, it's still a V6!"

R32? Or R33/34? The stock 32 GTR has the redline at 7500 and 33/34 at 8000.
