hey charlie....where do i start,i took the car to hypa racing for alluminium wing,wheelie bars and light mods,he went over the car and gave me a call...then he broke the news,my aim for this car was to run low 7's once sorted and full power peak,looking to make 1400hp,he explained to me why it wont do it and went over,then he said once you pass mid 7's youll need a full floaitng rear end and so on,the car is an excellant light show/drag car for anyone looking to run low 8's mid to high 7's etc but i wanna get serious and push the car to its limits basically comptete with the big boys and its hard to say but this car wont do it...hypa racing said the only thing they can do is build me a new tube frame as quick as possible that being about 8 weeks,then about 4 weeks in a pint shop,being realistic about 4 months then were ready for the engine bay side of things...im stuck between a rock and a hard place....thats the way the ball rolls.

go on ebay theres a dedicated r32 race car producing 411kw at the wheels for sale asking abot 35k.

i got a set of then for my race car,to be honest i dont like them,they seem cheap to me but the mechanic said the top fueler cars use arias and im like woop de-doo id still rather use to ross forgies cause in 5 years of use they never let me down.

car is almost ready just the little things you dont think about which im sure everyone misses out,like wiring,braided lines etc....im positive itll hit the dyno in about 4-6 weks then to the track it goes,if it runs into the 8s on its first meet ill be more than happy then we take it from there.....as for try7s it is now bright bright yellow and looks great and is for sale if anyone is keen on a 7 second package in a 3/4 chassis skyline with an rb26 combo,all you have to do is find out where the hell brett is these days,until then good day.

i spoke to bret over a year ago,he left the workshop of subzero a couple of years back and moved to gilmour developments in qld,turns out he was a bit shonky and brett was having dramas with the set up,the car itself went to the fabricators and got a chop up(3/4 chassis)nice big tyre was fitted and a bright yellow paint job,this car became a dedicated race car,he was so pissed off by the wait and trouble he was going to on sell the car to me once finished but havent heard from him in a year. as for mick stanic he left his familys sub zero business and moved to adelaide to tillbrook performance shop as the head mechanic,though i have heard many stories about mick over the years which would steer me clear from him,but each to there own i guess. i did have pics of the car which ill try to find and might i add its was looking hot,i ended up buying parts of try-09s of brett and its a shame why he got treated the way he does,he is very busy travelling up and down the cost working with his father in some type of earth drilling business. theres a website he gave me which i will try to dig up,stay tuned.

ERROR:SPRINGS AND RETAINERS NOT VALVES CAMS,SPRINGS,RETAINERS,SORRY ONCE AGAIN the cams are a tomie item if i remember correctly,the mechanic and i are not on talking terms anymore,specs are listed,you are more than welcome to inspect the items and ill have pics for anyone who is interested,these are for sale less than half the price i paid for them,everything is brand spanking new,never used.

i have a set of rb26 cams,never used for sale also comes with springs,valves cams-272/10.2mm(if that means anything to you) i bought these about a year ago but the engine builder decided to go bigger and opted for hks items,also have springs and valves to suit....$900 RB26 custom plenum by SUBZERO also has a oznos nitrous system plumbed into it with a 50hp shot pill),this plenum come off the skyline TRY-09S which ran a 9.4 a few years back,excellant unit and a work of art,complete $1700 pm me or email me if your interested as ill organize pics this week,located in sydney,eastern suburbs area,will post/deliver aus wide.

i saw one for sale in melb for 75k...

my friend was one of the firsts to own the r34 in oz..when at the rta it wasnt even in there system...then he flew to japan to nismo and bought all these goodies,a few weeks later it all arives exhaust,carbon fibre bits,clear lenses,dash,etc etc...sold it for a ferrari 360...hmm what was he thinking.

and im not even maltese..its just the wog in me.
