  1. Well things to car: (update)

*Guess it worked on george :)

*308 engine, trans, fuel system, diff and almost the rest of the car(well will be left with shell :) ) has been sold and given to new owner next week who is a good friend of mine with a 4door yellow LH torrie.

*2 1/2 months from now car will be in at mood motorsport getting the new engine fitted (350 chev) and some other chassis work done :) to prep car for new track.

*Then on to get full respray done.

  2. The N1 system is dam loud but not over the top and has a real nice note.

Oh and i would really worry about the old people as most have hearing probs anyways :P

And if you get sent to the pits just wack the silencer in and im sure they wont even ask about the exhaust or keep the old one just for that reason, to swap if you ever need too.

  3. Hey ed im not sure who would sell them in oz.

But the only way to find out with these sorta things is to start calling all the performance shops you can find cause the chance is someone will know someone that might do it if not they may be able to tell you where to go to get one made up.

  4. This sort of thing has been around for ages for use on old school carb engines and they are proven on engine dynos to make more power as they are said to help cool the air and fuel as it helps keep the engine/intake heat away from the carb.

Though i know you can go to big with these on n/a engines as when my 308 was on the dyno it mad more power with a 1"open space then without but lost power with a open 2".

Im not sure how this would work on a turbo engine but i would think the size wouldnt really effect it but i would tend to think larger would be better as air is forced into the engine.

I know these are for cabs but take a look at the links anyways if you want.
